Curvilinear text tool on several lines
Instead of limitating the use of this tool to one line, you should be able to make a paragraph based on the shape you use the curvilinear tool on.
For instance, if i want to write on the edge of a wheel divided in different parts, so that the text follows the shape of the circle. Let's say that the name of the wheel's part is a three lines title, when i press enter, indesign would create another circle on wich the text would follow the curve. see atached picture

Allow key bindings, shorcuts and function changes for mice
Similar yet from different worlds, AutoCAD is easy to navigate a layout by zooming in and out with the mouse wheel to where the curser is pointed, as well as to pan by clicking and holding the middle mouse button. Is there a way to do this already? However, it seems that InDesign only allows binding of Keyboard shortcuts. Mouse-bindings can further reduce stress and fatigue when working on documents for extended periods of (Coming from a Civil Drafter of 7yrs). Make the first keystroke count
When I highlight text, I'd like my first keystroke to actually make a change rather than deleting the highlighted text. For instance, if I highlighted the word "CHANGE" (all caps) and started to type "change" (all lowercase), I am left with "ange." My first keystroke of "c" doesn't seem to come through. Thanks for looking into this!

A workflow for properly exporting a dual colour-profiled document
Having both RGB and CMYK in swatches is a great advantage if you want to have a single document exported both to screen and print - but it turned out to be a swatch mess... what about a way to acknowledge similar colors as "equivalents" so we could replace entire document swatches from RGB>CMYK (or the other way around) when this export is needed? changing them individually will eventually cause mistakes.

You know I used to love PageMaker, Adobe InDesign 5 loaded from a CD onto my computer -Ran great/Fast and No trouble!! bUT THIS is CRAP!

Ability to open Quark Express 4.0 files
Old versions could open Quark files .. new one does not seem to have that function.

Spell Check prompt upon saving, exporting or printing a document.
When you have finished creating your piece of design or artwork, could InDesign prompt/ask you if you would like to spell check your document? The prompt would come up when you attempt to save, export or print your work, asking if you would like to do this before you complete the relevant action.
This will be extremely useful as this is a key process that gets forgotten by many artworks. This could be a setting option that could ticked on within preferences.

All shortcut command is not available for all symbol characters like pagemaker example Þ double arrow symble
All symbol should be apply in symbol style press key Alt=0222,0163 etc.

Have a delay option for looped preset animations
I want to animate a button using the 'pulse' preset I want this to be on loop but with a break in-between (say 1 second delay) before the pulse animation loops again. Right now when I click on loop animation and preview it just screams for attention and thats not what I want. I just want it to pulse 'looped' with a second delay before it does it again. Also it would be great if you could specify how large the pulse animation goes. As sometimes it is quite large.

Export file
If I open a file and try to save this in another format I get redirected to the last directory I saved a file in that format previously. Would be easier to put it in the working directory I am working on with that document.

merging cells in a table
I am trying to create a 9x12 horizontal postcard with 4 vertical columns and 5 horizontal rows. Then I merge cells to create different size ad boxes. By the time I get to the last merge, it pulls everything up and looks like it is adding another row at the bottom. For example: merge the whole bottom row into one ad box; merge the right column 4 boxes into one ad box; merge the left 3 boxes beginning from the top into one ad box; merge the center 6 boxes into one large ad box. In the pop up window file menu, "Object, Transform, Scale", when scaling a warning can be shown that object can't be scaled as they'd fall
In the pop up window file menu, "Object, Transform, Scale", when scaling a warning is shown that objects can't be scaled as they'd fall off the pasteboard. This is mainly due to the wrong point indesign scales from. IE it may be set to top left whereas centrally or mid right may scale no problem. But because the warning pops up you have to cancel what you're doing, select the different point then start the scaling process again.
Can the squares of the object not be combined with the scale pop up window please?

Import only styles that matches between target and source documents
Add the hability (UI and script) to import only styles that matches between target and source documents, ignoring the ones from the source that aren't in the target document.

Please fix the table style problem, I cannot change or update a table style and if I do it crashes.
Fix it so I am able to change and update a style. Currently, any change to the style crashes InDesign.

Being able to Copy Past saved photos from Microsoft "Photo Gallery" and "Pictures" and "Photos"to 'Bridge'
