Auto-size new option
It would also be useful for an anchored object to be able to set Auto-size to the width of the container object (e.g., in percentage), in a way similar to what is possible with CSS.

Text Frame new options
It would be interesting if, in the Text Frame Options, there were an option to set a maximum size for both height and width. Thanks

Merge paragraph styles to be able to use the functions of two styles at the same time
create a way that the attributes of one paragraph style can be applied to another paragraph style, so that a style that has certain attributes can be used in conjunction with other styles, thus avoiding the creation of multiple 'equal' paragraph styles just because at a certain point in the publication it has to have some difference.

Display effective ppi and actual ppi of selected image at the Control panel
I'd like to see the effective ppi and actual ppi of an image displayed at the Control panel for easy of use. It's a very important information for me as I routinelly place several images on our publications and it's really cumbersome to have to open the Links panel or the Info panel just to check an image resolution while there's plentiful of unused space at the Control panel where this information could sit.

LINKED TEXT BOXES - SEPARATE CONTENT FROM STYLES FORMATTING
CONTENT NEEDS TO FLOW THROUGH LINKED TEXT BOXES AS THE BOXES ARE RESIZED, OR CONTENT IS EDITED. EACH LINKED TEXT BOX SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE A STYLE APPLIED TO THE BOX. RIGHT NOW I HAVE TO SELECT THE TEXT AND APPLY FORMATTING. BUT IF THE CONTENT FLOWS DIFFERENTLY, THIS HAS TO BE RE-DONE. PLEASE MAKE IT SO THAT WE CAN CLICK ON A TEXT BOX AND CHANGE THE STYLE JUST FOR THE TEXT BOX, AND WHATEVER CONTENT HAPPENS TO FLOW INTO IT. CASES WHERE THIS MAKES A LOT OF SENSE: YOU MIGHT HAVE CONTENT FLOWING ONTO DIFFERENT COLORED BACKGROUNDS AND NEED FONT COLOR TO CHANGE. YOU MIGHT HAVE CONTENT FLOWING INTO AREAS OF A DOCUMENT WHERE THE FONT SIZE NEEDS TO DECREASE DUE TO THE PAGE LAYOUT. THANK YOU.

Import images linked locally to creative cloud library from within any CC app
Currently if I want to use a new asset that I've downloaded or saved to desktop the process looks like this:
- Navigate to CC desktop app
- Navigate to existing CC library or create a new one
- Drag and drop assets from desktop into library
- Go to InDesign (or whichever app)
- Navigate to appropriate library
- Drag asset from library to working document
What I'd like is:
- Place item from desktop in document
- Select the asset in the Links panel
- Click "import to current library"
- Asset is imported directly to the library and the link is automatically updated to the library version of the asset

Why is there no copy filename only option when you right click on an image in the link window?
Never figured it out, was it forgotten or did Adobe feel it wasn't needed?
It's necessary when links are missing and you need to find images.1 vote -
InDesign Hyperlink Formatting
Hyperlinks are usually https:// rather than http://
Most browsers give you dire warnings for http.
Of course a properly configured web server should send you over to https, but not all are.HJyperlinks don't need to be underlined by default anymore. That is so 1990's.

ツールの互換性について
Compatibility between InDesign and Illustrator, with the same specifications and usable features as Illustrator, such as text boxes and point characters, object appearance features, etc., and with grouped objects from the CC library also remaining editable from Illustrator. Please allow copy-paste from Illustrator to InDesign with grouped objects from the CC library still editable.

Remove the floating "help with a feature items"
I wanted to share some feedback regarding a recent usability issue I’ve experienced across several Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
In recent updates, each of these programs has introduced tool-specific pop-up panels or hints that appear when a tool is selected. While I understand the intent is to offer helpful tips or highlight features, these pop-ups are consistently disruptive to my workflow. They frequently appear directly over the content I'm working on and are difficult to reposition. Even when I move them off the canvas, they often reset to their original (obstructive) location whenever I switch tools—requiring repeated effort to move them out of the way.
The attached screenshot shows an example from this morning—I've had to move the pop-up off-canvas at least ten times in a single session, only to have it return again and again.
Rather than floating over the workspace, a less intrusive solution might be to dock or slide these panels out from the tool selector on the left-hand side of the screen. That way, users can reference them when needed without them interfering with active work.
While I appreciate feature enhancements, this particular change has negatively impacted my efficiency, and I’d love to see an option to reposition them more permanently.

Option to "Rasterize All Pages" in EPUB Export
My organization needs the ability to rasterize all pages in a document when exporting to a Fixed Layout EPUB.
InDesign EPUB export currently only supports rasterizing the first page or individual objects. Neither of these are sufficient for our needs. We publish graphic novels with complex, overlapping design elements, and we need the pages to look exactly as they do in regular PNG exports.
Our current workaround is to export PNG's from InDesign, and then use an additional software to assemble the images into an EPUB, which is incredibly time-consuming.

Books. Please add more control from scripts
Book. Add more control from scripts: reading state from Book panel (highlighted items).
Maybe add a new property to BookContent (boolean), what signals whether this element is highlighted on a book panel.1 vote -
Hola Adobe 👋

Could we make the Background task icon animation work harder?
The current icon appears next to the share button on the top bar when we export a PDF, what about including the percentage within the revolving circle? Saves me open the tab to check for bigger docs. Thanks!

Nesting bookmarks trought multiple files within an InDesign book
I would like to be able to nest bookmarks by creating, for example, a nest of bookmarks in one file and then in another file (which is still part of the book) using the same name assigned to the bookmark nested in the previous file, so that I can continue to insert content within the same nest.
The result would be = 1 large group containing all the bookmarks I am interested in.This could be done by taking a cue from the variant/variable renaming system that currently exists in Figma.
For example, if I want to put the bookmark ‘Spruce’ in the ‘Trees’ folder (which is, however, in a different file within the InDesign book), but at the moment I am in a different file, if I write in the rename space: Trees/Fir, InDesign creates a group between the two and when I export the pdf file I already find the bookmarks ready to be clicked on.

Drag and drop Parent Pages onto pages or pasteboard
Allow users to drag and drop parent pages onto actual pages (not in the pages panel) or pasteboard.
Dragging master pages onto pages would apply it to the page.
Dragging onto the pasteboard would apply it to the spread.1 vote -
Interactive forms in Indesign
Find it important to have the Acrobat-form options mirrored in Indesign. e.g. "save the document" is not available. at the moment every form needs to be reworked in Acrobat, leaving lots of space for failures and mistakes.

Arrange features
I've been frustrated with the new way dragging a document tab to make it a seperate window forces it into a split screen first, and then I have to grab the tab again and the second time it actually makes it a new window. I'd like to be able to toggle that feature on and off (I'm sure it works for someone's workflow). Additionally, the document window edges often hides under the menu and/or below the edge of my screen. This is frustrating because it makes it hard to scale the window if the right hand corner we're meant to click on to change the window size is outside the visible screen area. It's not that I never want to be able to push windows past that "off screen" area but when I'm trying to pull a tab into a new window then I want to be able to adjust it without fuss.
