InDesign 2018 USER INTERFACE STILL TOO SMALL!
Over the years I (and others) have requested that the UI of InDesign be scalable. As designers, our eyes navigate us thru the creative process.
IT IS NOT EASY to readily decipher palettes and menus which sport MICROSCOPIC TYPE on a 28-inch, high-resolution monitor.
It IMPEDES workflow if one is spending extra time trying to find and choose things on the interface.
At least give us a choice! Smaller, Medium, Large, Extra-large.
When will Adobe get this??????
Scalable UI feature is now available in the latest version of InDesign – InDesign 2022. Please get the latest version of InDesign from the Creative Cloud Desktop app. — Adobe InDesign team

As far as I can understand, InDesign is only able to scale UI to maximum 200%, while Photoshop and Illustrator appear to go further - or has a better implementation with windows 10 scaling.
The UI of InDesign is on the small side on a 4K monitor and on newer monitors with 5K or 8K, the 200% scaling is not sufficient.
Implementation of same scaling as Photoshop and Illustrator, will ensure a much improved user experience for users on high resolution monitors.
It will also future-prof InDesign, as the amount of 4K+ monitors, only will increase in the coming years. -

I use InDesign on a laptop that gets docked for use with multiple screens and removed from the dock for remote work. When the machine is docked the UI scale is perfect. When I use InDesign after disconnecting the computer from the dock the interface gets very small. If I switch to the larger scale factor the interface gets very large. Illustrator seems to scale on its own just fine.

Please please please allow for increasing font size in the UI.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. It's been long enough now. I pay $55 ish dollars a month and have to take frequent breaks) just to use the software.

It's not a bug. It's just not a priority. 4K is just not on their radar still. Nor is multi-processors.

InDesign 2020 USER INTERFACE STILL TOO SMALL!

I recently purchased the Affinity Suite and their InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop alternatives work just fine with OS display scaling... and you also get gloriously smooth GPU accelerated scroll and zoom (missing from InDesign on windows). Serif have a fraction of the resources of Adobe, be do seem to care about their users.
It's a mess across the CC suite on Windows. Having transitioned from macOS last year where it works flawlessly it was a bit of a shock.

My eyes hurt from squinting when UI Scaling is set "to lower Supported scale factor", and when it's "higher supported scale factor", the icons are too big, causing a lot of tools to be hidden on the control panel in Typography.
Guys, been using InDesign for years and I never had this problem until CC came along. Would appreciate the team getting us UI scaling like they did for Illus and Photosh. This is professional expensive software, c'mon, we need it to work properly and be adjustable.

I agree, it's either way too small or way too big on my 1920x1080 laptop screen. Please make it scaleable as in Photoshop and Illustrator.

As I'm sure you're aware by now, the tools and menu links in InDesign are way too small when displayed on a 4K screen. I've just installed CC on a new Dell XPS 15 7590 with 4K LCD screen with default Windows scaling setting of 250%, which works fine for all the Adobe apps I use (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Acrobat) except InDesign. PLEASE FIX!

Designers use their eyes all day every day, and we need to be able to use the latest tech and design tools like 4k monitors. Please give us the option to scale the UI so we can see what we're doing. This seems like a no-brainer.

The 2019/2020 updates increased the size of the interface as far as I can tell, but now its TOO BIG. It's choose between way too small and way too big.

It's really bad when you have to try and add a tab. The marks are CRAZY small. It usually takes me a few minutes to be able to set a tab. When using the accessibility feature on Mac, the dialogs get blurry with zoom (not really helpful). No pair of glasses will help with this...
Getting old isn't fun.
I like the idea of having choices: Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large (hopefully large would be at least a 16 pt font).
Adobe, please consider this request, your users do age.
Thank you,

Is there any update? I have this issue as well and it looks like it's been under review since August (It's December now).

I'm experiencing this issue in its full glory.
There was a time when a user could count on core components of Adobe Products to work the same. Case in point: In Illustrator 2020, you can indeed adjust the size of the user interface via Preferences. I found this just the other day, so the question is why doesn't InDesign have this feature?
I'm all for innovation in products, but there are some things that should work across the entire Adobe Suite.
Attached is a screenshot of the interface adjustment preference from Illustrator. -

I have a visually impaired student in my yearbook class. We use InDesign. She can't see it. Is it still not scalable? This is not ok.

It realy would be nice to have the possibility to scale the UI. We use InDesign in teamsessions on a 82'' 4k display. It's nearly impossible to work with it!
