InDesign 2018 USER INTERFACE STILL TOO SMALL!
Over the years I (and others) have requested that the UI of InDesign be scalable. As designers, our eyes navigate us thru the creative process.
IT IS NOT EASY to readily decipher palettes and menus which sport MICROSCOPIC TYPE on a 28-inch, high-resolution monitor.
It IMPEDES workflow if one is spending extra time trying to find and choose things on the interface.
At least give us a choice! Smaller, Medium, Large, Extra-large.
When will Adobe get this??????
Thank you for your patience all this while, we truly appreciate it.
We have started to explore this and we value your feedback and suggestion.
Feel free to comment below if there’s anything that you want us to keep a note of while building this capability.

I'm glad to see this is labeled as started but is there any new updates when we will see a UI scale slider. It is pretty insane that you guys are only now starting to explore this.
This fixed it for me:
Go to your desktop icon>Properties>Compatibility>Change DPI settings
I changed the settings like so on the screenshot and it worked.
Good to hear Adobe is finally addressing this. It is a major accessibility issue for people with uncorrectable vision problems. A speedy solution would be greatly appreciated. I've gotten around this to some extent by changing the display resolution, but you can only go so far before the program becomes unusable.
great to hear you are on the case with this now, thank you.
One thing i’d like to throw into the mix which may be of use to you on this subject actually occurred as a bug/glitch of some sort while i was working in inDesign cc2019/20. I don’t know what i did to make it happen but i came back to my system after a break and woke it from sleep. And i found the inDesign UI frame tools/icons/rulers/etc showing as a fluorescent green one time and red on another occasion (more than once). And although this was obviously a bug of some sort, the truth is, i actually liked it! The fluorescent appearance of the icons, etc., just gave it all more clarity, even at the smaller sizes. After i finished the work for the day, or shutdown the system, next time i came back to it it will have disappeared.
It struck me that this could be a good feature/option to have as a preference and go some way toward a cure for the problem. I did write in to the community about this weirdness at the time, and i took screenshots more than a year ago but don’t remember getting any response. Anyhow, i’ve attached the two screenshots for you to see, hope this helps. And it would be good to hear what you think of this as a possible aid to the solution.

Same goes for the handles on paths. I an barely see them, there should be an option to increase/decrease their size like in Illustrator
Adobe has today, via Twitter, confirmed that they are working on this feature for an upcoming update.
"Hi David, thanks for your patience. I am afraid I do not have any specific date, but the product team is already working to add this feature in future releases of InDesign. You may use this UserVoice(https://bit.ly/37nX7m6) to upvote & add your comment. Thanks! ^AM""

Ironic commentary: We are waiting since 2017 cause they have not enough funds to set 1-2 programmers day by day for 1 month to implement this functionality.
Still waiting... meanwhile.... no answers... no advance.... struggling on a tiny/huge interface.
Will they wake up when Affinity make a big step forward? I think not...
96 comments dating back to 2017 and we are in 2021 with no good resolution to this. This is a needed update for individuals that are responsible for designing things. A blurry, scaled interface is a slap in the face for people that pixel peep. Let's face it, 4K is not exactly "new" technology.
Ignoring logical user requested updates like this only furthers the narrative that the membership fees are not worth it. I don't believe that is the case. I earn a living off your software. That being said, it is a pretty big issue when we're all trying to stay at the bleeding edge and we're waiting 4 years for updates that have been standard in other Adobe Software for years.
I got a new laptop with a HD 4k screen and its already scaled to 250% but the user interface is still too small. Even if increasing my OS scaling to 300%+ fixed it (which it doesn't), it would still be infuriating to have everything on my computer scaled that high all the time, or have to adjust it every time I wanted to use the program. I am a graphic design student and I am required to use Indesign for presenting and turning in every project/assignment I do. It worked great on my older laptop with standard resolution, but now it is really frustrating to try to do anything with the program.
I just don't understand why a professional-grade product doesn't account for high-resolution screens, or even include a simple in-program UI scaling slider or option.

Hi all -
I had this same issue. If you are on windows 10, try this.
Go to your display settings and make sure ALL monitors are set to 125% for scale and layout.
This fixed it for me.
Yesssssss, please get this fixed. The lack of feedback or fix from a professional public company is a bummer. It's a pretty huge annual subscription cost for something that has this problem and which has been fixed for Photoshop and Illustrator.
I have had this issue for over two years on a 4K Cintiq using Windows 10. InDesign is blurry when the system scaling is set to 200%, and it's unreadably small when the system is set to 100%. When is this NECESSARY feature going to be implemented in InDesign?

Just for giggles, set the scaling in the operating system to 200% and then set InDesign’s scaling to maximum.
Don’t forget to restart InDesign after making those changes. InDesign scales based on the operating system scaling factor for your monitor.

Abobe InDesign software engineers:
Please make InDesign’s interface scalable so that icons, etc, can appear larger. Please.
Seems like they are getting smaller with each upgrade.

Amen to that request.
UI scale don't work. I'm using 2 screens of 1080p and only allow me 2 options, one too big, so I can't read or use anything on the bottom. The other option show the text and symbols ridiculously small.
This don't happened with others Adobe software. I'm working on W10.
On a side note:
Please also support the request
"Adding an option to increase the anchor point handle size"
It has only 6 votes and is on page 40!
Using the exact same setup and having a similar issue. My interface is fine, but my cursor is gigantic! It's very annoying. These Dell docking stations are terrible :/
I am crying, please make it bigger PLEASE
