Hi All,
Can you explain how this would be used, is the end goal to find a some stuff restricting the search to Tables, or is it something else. It would really help if you can share how you plan to use this new GREP code for tables.

An error occurred while saving the comment ID can work around some of this by calculating the percentage width of columns and setting color stops accordingly, but it would be great to have something less kludgy to use gradients in tables.

Sanyam Talwar (he/him)An error occurred while saving the comment I can think of a couple of scenarios that may have differing approaches:
1. Revising long or legacy documents, it could be useful to hide all pages that are not subject to editing. Hide pages to simplify navigation and avoid accidental edits.
2. Versioning a document where not all pages are included in all versions. Document has page 16a-d, where the rest of the document is the same but that page (or range) differs per export (e.g. catalog or sell sheet with a featured product and a common section featuring the full line).
3. Related, but it might also be nice to have version control where a page or range can be hidden/locked with attached documentation following client sign-off.
An error occurred while saving the comment I would think this would be useful for project development. I'm sure everyone has had an indecisive client who keeps wanting to add/remove/add/waffle/revise/remove/add back from the second draft? It would be nice to be able to hide pages vs deleting and having to copy back from a previous version. Also, long documents that may have multiple versions or editions (for example, revising a textbook where only Chapters 3, 7, 8, and 15 have changes; book would be better, but I've seen some a single document). Being able to hide everything that is not an active edit to speed navigation would be nice (page up/down or next page only goes to active pages).

The ability to find colors in documents in now available in InDesign’s latest release 16.0.
It can be found in a new tab of Find/Change dialog – Color.

Abhinav Kaushik (AK)An error occurred while saving the comment Thank you for working on this, but there is a related issue with the Delete Swatch dialog. If you have multiple colors to delete and select them all, there is no indication in the dialog which color it is currently processing. It would be nice if the color swatch and name appeared at the top of the dialog to visually identify which swatch is currently being removed.

Fix for this issue is available in the latest InDesign version - InDesign 2023. The fix should solve most of the issues that were seen earlier.
A new option "Honor Text Indents in addition to Text Wrap" is introduced in Preferences > Composition dialog. It is turned ON by default for new documents created in ID2023. For documents created in previous InDesign versions, this option is turned off by default - which can be turned ON to see the improved behavior.

Also, saving the "recent" GREP query history per document (or a favorites list?) instead of having the rolling global history. I've had to start saving GREP recipes on the pasteboard, but it would be nice to have the dialog remember them for that document.
