An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Ruhlin commentedYes, Please fix this- if I have a group of three items, BOTH the Size and Position settings will apply to each object IN the group, instead of the entire group as a whole, which is NEVER what I want to have happen. in the example, I have a logo, which is four parts, pasted from IL (yes, I usually would PLACE the logo from IL) but If I need to color it differently, I like to be able to copy and paste from IL sometimes. It is a group. The first pic is the group, and the second pic is the group with an Object Style, with Size and Position options applied. I want to be able to color and place the logo in the correct spot with an Object Style. It's impossible. There is NO situation that I would want all items in a group to move or resize in this manner.

Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Ruhlin commentedThis default behavior makes creating a responsive document almost impossible. PLEASE work on a remedy for this issue. Documents are being made for mobile more and more with each passing upgrade. The timing panel gets completely out of order both when an alternate layout is created as well as simply copying and pasting a couple animations from one page or file to another.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Ruhlin commentedIn the Adobe documentation https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/exporting-publishing-pdf.html#:~:text=Choose%20File%20%3E%20Export.,)%2C%20and%20then%20click%20Save.
there is a NOTE that says you can hold Option or Alt to Change the Cancel button to a Reset button. This should reset the settings back to the default. This doesn't work on my M1 mac, running Monterey version 12.1 and InDesign 2022.Laurie Ruhlin supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Ruhlin commentedthis happens to me constantly. 5 to 6 times each minute as I edit text. Mac M1 Mini, Big sur, InD 2022, every time I edit text in a text frame, the text, usually the entire block above and below the line I'm on will disappear. I have to move the frame up and down one point to get the text to come back. Then I edit more text, same thing, have to switch to selection tool, move text box or zoom in and out to fix the next word. I DOUBLE the time that it takes to edit text.
An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Ruhlin commentedThis is happening on my M1 Mac mini 16.3.2 big sur.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Ruhlin commentedI am running Mac Mini M1 (first version) InD 2022 (happened in 2021 as well) Big Sur 11.6
Very frustrating that I can't rename my Object States. I can't double click, there is no right click choice to choose rename.Laurie Ruhlin supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Ruhlin commentedI have this problem too. my table applies alternating fills, but when I import a table style and cell style and apply it to the table, I am unable to apply alternating fills either locally or using a style. Overriding the table to basic doesn't reset it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Laurie Ruhlin commentedI actually WANT to use Reveal in Bridge. I notice that on the 2021 version, that when I right click on a file in the Links panel, it will open the CC app, not bridge. I would like Reveal in Bridge to show me exactly where the photo is located in bridge- so I can find other photos in the same folder. I use this feature quite often, and 2021 it seems to be broken .

To identify the cause of this issue, we started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.
We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the following: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2025(v20.0.0.095) as it is more robust and contains a lot of bug fixes.
We seek your support in our continual effort to improve InDesign.

This must be changed. Now I always have to really think and read the dialog.
