An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedYou can use any .joboptions or PDFpreset when you package a file. Using a PDFx with bleed is a good idea, you already have that option.

Thanks for reporting.
We will review the bug-InDesign Team
An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedThere are things different on the page showing transparency flattening (soft proofing of CMYK) there are most likely transparency objects. If this is a case InDesign is forced to enable colour management because of there being transparent objects. I suppose it could trigger proofing for the whole file… how would you want it to behave for it not to be a bug? If you change transparency blend space to RGB you will get the RGB colours.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedAre you thinking of how to be able to control say a ) or a punctuation after a number? Character style will apply to the whole bullet/numbering string and GREP or nested style ignores that string.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedSince you can have a custom baseline on a frame it is possible to do this already by changing the baseline on the frames that are in the master pages (I would suggest using an object style for this to make it more manageable)

Hi All,
This indeed a great suggestion. I wanted to understand a little more about this request.
1. The way this request is described its majorly about figuring out how to change the various text attributes in a single step rather than having to change multiple styles to make that happen. It would helpful if you can mention which all attributes you all would want to be dependent on the baseline (space before/after, size, leading any other).
2. Which kind of documents (magazines, brochures, books etc.) do you see this to be more important for you.
3. Wouldn’t a similar method (not sure if we could base it on baseline though!!) for changing the layout also help, if you could define the sizes of objects in relation to the page size. Do you think extending this feature to the layout also makes sense.
4. If you can share some files…Lukas Engqvist supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedPNG files ignore profiles. Other profiles are honoured except if you have CMYK safe workflow. Could you explain a bit more where you are having trouble both for us to know to vote and for tech team to understand.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedSounds like you are describing LPI ;) DPI and PPI are interchangeable if you are working on bitmaps. Pixels are rendered to halftone dots at the LPI specified by the print service provider at the equipments DPI. All terms are relevant but only PPI is relevant in InDesign.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedDepends on the intent of the document you set up. If you create a new document as print the default is CMYK.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedWould be good to be able to package all files referenced by that data merge. It may be more appropriate from the Data Merge flout window.

Abhinav Kaushik (AK)An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedThere are HSB sliders in the colour themes tool.
Agree that predictability in certain parts of the workflow is so much more important than speed. This feature is so fast it trips us.
