    Hello All,

The fix for this issue is now available in InDesign’s latest version, id 14.0.3.
Please update your InDesign to try out the fix.

    Note:
If you open a file which already has this issue, in the new version, you may continue to see the issue.
To resolve such cases, you may SAVE AS the file or do a force text re-composition as the workaround

However, all the new files created in the new version will not have this issue anymore.

You may also follow the below given link for the list of all fixed issues in Id 14.0.3

    Hi together,
I can confirm the bug with the test document in this discussion:

    2. Re: Strange First Line Indent bug in Indesign
IDScript Jun 21, 2019 7:10 AM (in response to IDScript)
    https://forums.adobe.com/message/11132741#11132741

Test document of the OP linked in the reply of the forum.

Workaround I found: "Recompose all Stories" keyboard shortcut or script that invokes the menu action.

    Hi,
what is the exact version of the prerelease beta build where the bug is fixed?
Will the bug be fixed with a 14.0.3 version of InDesign CC 2019? Or eventually with a hotfix for 14.0.2 ?

    Thanks;
    Uwe

I cannot see this with 14.0.2 on Windows 10.
Not if I select pages in the Pages panel, not if I select pages with the Page tool.

To be precise: If no document is open one cannot turn off the feature. It's grayed out.

Just came accross this limitation, so I voted to allow InDesign Note objects in footnote texts.
FWIW: No issue to add Notes to endnote texts.
