This is now available in the latest version of InDesign.
An error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedI think, the endnotes have to undergo massive enhancements. I, personally, don’t understand the decision to put the endnotes in extra frames. This is not the way I would suspect to place endnotes. In my eyes they are definitely part of the story in which they are used (footnotes are implemented as part of the story, either).
They should be the last text elements at the end of the text flow. Additionally there should be the possibility (similar to renumbering of footnotes based on sections) to place (and renumber) them in one story/text flow at the end of a section! This would reflect the use case of endnotes at chapter end (while preserving the text chain throughout the whole document). An error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedA similar request already exists:

Please don't forget to vote there either!Tobias Wantzen supported this idea · -

Hi All, this feature is now available in the latest version of InDesign i.e. InDesign 13.1
Kindly update InDesign to get access to this feature.
Regards
JavedAn error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedI would like to add:
It would be best, if this would allow the output of single pages AND sections. E.g. an input of »1-20, 22, 25, 30-40« would output these PDFs:
1-20.pdf
22.pdf
25.pdf
30-40.pdfTobias Wantzen supported this idea · -

Tobias Wantzen supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedTheo, not exactly, what you want, but you could get a similar effect even today with all versions of InDesign by using proportional scaling (vertical and horizontal) of the text. If your body text is 14pt, you could give the character style (16 ÷ 14 =) 114,3% vertical and horizontal scaling to get 16pt.

The feature to “Preserve Filename on PDF Export” was introduced in InDesign 2019 in the PDF Export dialog.
The option is called “Use InDesign Document Name as the Output Filename”.Marking this Feature Request as Completed.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedFor all non-Framemaker user it would be better to describe these features. Maybe they are useful, but we couldn't vote for something, we don't understand properly. Please explain the features you mentioned.
