An error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedIf you mean, negative indentation to overstep the left text frame margin to the left and the right text frame margin to the right, I'm totally in! Strongly seconded!!!
Negative Kerning to overstep the left frame border would be nice either!Tobias Wantzen supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedIs this, what you mean? This is already possible using negative first line indents in combination with the bulleted list feature.

Fix for this issue is available in the latest InDesign version - InDesign 2023. The fix should solve most of the issues that were seen earlier.
A new option "Honor Text Indents in addition to Text Wrap" is introduced in Preferences > Composition dialog. It is turned ON by default for new documents created in ID2023. For documents created in previous InDesign versions, this option is turned off by default - which can be turned ON to see the improved behavior.
Please let us know how the fix is working for you.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedIt’s long time ago, that I posted this. Only a few seem to be interested. Now the time of XSLT3 arises:

An error occurred while saving the comment Tobias Wantzen commentedYes, please – that would be a huge improvement. In this context, I’d like to bring a long hold wish of mine back into memory: a kerning editor, which honors left and right text frame border, so I can define my own set of optical margin alignment.

Thank you all for the votes.
Can you help us understand the key problems that you face in the absence of ability to send an anchored image backwards?
What’s the current workaround that you have to follow?
What are the use cases wherein you need that the text appears specifically on top of inline anchored image?
This information will help us evaluate the functionality better.

Strongly seconded! I’d like to see a search field for style names either. And the style groups should be visible as a folder tree as they are in the style’s palette!
