Burmese font rendering error
InDesign CC 15
WorldScript doesn't compose Burmese Unicode characters correctly, shifting the location of some characters and not positioning some accents correctly, do you have a plan to fix this as it has been like it for a long time? Other languages like Lao and Khmer have been fixed over time, but not Burmese.
The issue has been fixed in the latest release of InDesign – InDesign 2021.
Please update to this new version of InDesign to get the fix.

How to do this? If you type "ရေ" the column in the table will be broken.

Hi Johnny Knox,
Do you know how to fix the problem with bullets?
I have tried applying adobe-world-ready paragraph composer and it worked well. however, when I applied bullet functions, the texts (in pyidaungsu font) got distorted. Any suggestions?
Here is a video of how I needed to put the settings to get Unicode Burmese to work https://www.loom.com/share/7fc710036f3846969f6aa7ccafb74595?fbclid=IwAR018ZhCDrEVTzt_BS668s0jW2Cd4WFkKBOTDK98bixQHdhK3NNMWaM2otA
It seems like this has been solved now. It requires changing paragraph settings to "adobe world-ready paragraph composer" but it works as long as using a Unicode compliant font.

We would like to understand the precise issue you are facing. We have a reference snapshot from Johnny. Is your issue also the same?
Please help us by providing the InDesign file having the characters which cause the issue. Thanks!
I'm currently working on After Effects project that needs a Burmese/Myanmar subtitles and I'm getting the same error. I have tried Google Noto Fonts, Myanmar Unicode and many others but nothing seems to work correctly?

I've been able to finish a few Burmese layouts in CC 15, but it's quite challenging - text entered in one place in a story will cause glyphs to render incorrectly in another paragraph. Indented or bulleted paragraphs seem to be a major cause. I can attach some .gifs if that would help.
Yes Agreed, it is not working, even though considered supported.
