Chrash when opening tab menue

Crashing when ever I try to open the tab menue. After restart the button menue I never use is shownUsing 16.1. with the same documents works fine

Phonetic tie and World-Ready Composer
I'm seeing a behavior that I believe to be a bug. When I have a phonetic spelling with a tie character—for example, d͡ʒ"—using Indesign's paragraph composer, Indesign renders it as three characters—d + [tie] + ʒ. When I change to the world-ready paragraph composer, however, InDesign joins the tie to the character before it such that it can't be moved. I tried using a non-joiner between them, but InDesign just joins the tie to the non-joiner.

Why the strikethrough & highlight functions are hidden?
Why are the strikethrough & highlight functions of share for review hidden?
Hi. I was really looking forward to the ability to use the Share for Review feature. I find it an immense help for reviewing and proofreading publications.
But when I start using it, the strikethrough & highlight functions do not appear in the browsers.
However, looking in more detail, I see that the options are there, but they are hidden.

Can you tell me how to solve this problem?

Unable to ignore color in a paragraph or character style
Command/Ctrl-clicking on a color in a paragraph or character style to ignore a color previously set used to work but now it doesn't.
I am running ID 16.2.1.

Import SVG, crashing indesign
I'm on MAC and I'm using the latest versin of Indesign 16.2.1 and when i import an svg (who come Adobe XD), indesign do not respond and crash.

Some objects won't resize randomly
I'm fining with this latest version that some objects, particularly text will only resize to a certain size. See my screenshot - this is a 1x3 meter banner and I cannot size the text any bigger than what you see on the screenshot it just snaps back. I know for a fact the text is nowhere near Indesign's maximum size as it's 150pt. I can manually change the size of the text to 500pt plus but this throws the layout off. I'm absolutely sick and tired of these constant bugs in this programme.

Inability to process transparency effects in rollover button states.
I want to create a rollover effect for my TOC. It's a three page TOC. There are almost 200 listings. I cannot make every line a button. That would be crazy. So I wanted to just place the text on one layer, and a 50% transparent box that is a button that appears on rollover. But evidently that cannot be done? How else might I handle this?

Indesign - Texts keep disappearing with any edits. Have to scroll away and back to see new text

close book in event handler is out of sync

if you call the closeBooks function, everything works fine.
But if the function is used as a handler, the "done" message appears immediately, before the for loop complete.try adding a beforeQuit eventListener:
app.addEventListener('beforeQuit', closeBooks);and close InDesign having one or more modified books to see this (strange) behaviour.
The same function works fine if you target documents.
InDesign CC2021 16.2.1 on MacOs Catalina 10.15.7

Unable to create a new document in Indesign 2021 (16.2.1)
Both Idesign 16.2.1 and 16.1 applications open to a black screen with a menu bar at the top. I am unable to create a new document unless I use the legacy settings under Edit. This issue started on June 21, 2021. All previous versions work fine.

Margin Issues When Threading Tables
InDesign 2021
Background: I'm working with an InDesign Template file that was set up with two pages (not facing) and a lengthy table in a text box.
Issue: Whenever I thread my text box with the table it contains, the table over stretches the margins on only the additional/threaded pages. It remains within the set margins on the original pages, and if you try to adjust the table on the overset pages, it shirks it on the original pages as well.

In a document imported from word, endnote links don't work.
I imported a word document with endnotes in indesign 2021. The link between the reference numbers and the endnote texts doesn't work. Any suggestion?

Applying character or paragraph style causes eventual crash
I make extensive use of the command-RETURN keyboard shortcut to apply character and paragraph styles. It seems that if I use this shortcut enough times, InDesign will crash. This happens several times a day, forcing me to reopen all my files and try to remember where I was.

Problem copying font from Acrobat Pro DC PDF (to Word and Indesign)
[Adobe Indesign 2021 - 16.3 / Suitcase Fusion 21.3.0]
Since the last update, I am unable to copy/paste from a PDF in Acrobat the accented characters of the French dictionary (ô, é, è, ç, à) to Word or Indesign, whatever the font is (Adobe font or personal font).
The glyph disappear when pasted.
The glyphs exists in the dictionary when looking at the panel in Indesign.

Share for Review Box Blank
I know the most recent update was supposed to fix this issue, but I am still having issues with the blank box in the "Share for Review" section. Any suggestions?

I previously downloaded a Japanese font and it worked fine in CS-6 - I am now using 2021 and Indesign will not print the Japanese characters
Please tell me how to fix this!

Uservoice shows error message and creates double posts
I've klicked on publish button and got a error message at my last post.
I thought maybe it's a problem with the size of the attachment, so I've tried an other file and got no problems at publishing.
Now I've seen, that the first two attempts, that were stopped by a error message of this system here, were published too.
So fyi, I didn't want to make a double or tripple post.Maybe you want to take a look at this behaviour too.

Files open small and display in the top left only - scrolling goes hay wire
the program seems to be functioning, but will only open and create new files in the top left hand corner of the screen. If I zoom in, it will zoom, but only in that small space. If I scroll, it goes hay wore showing only grey and clipping lines like it can't process what its viewing.
Help, I can't use Indesign at all with it like this.
