2. Impossible to type the dimensions of a document

   When you want to personalize your own dimension on a document, you cannot just click on the sizes and enter the number, you have to put the cursor, then errase and then write, it is not convenient at all !

4. Indesign exporting PNG, colours look off

   Trying to export some PNGs with RGB colour for web but every time I export the colours look CMYK. Had no issues yesterday, haven't tweaked with any settings since. I saw they fixed the yellow streak bug but maybe now this is a new issue. Anyone else?

   Left, what it should look like. Right, what it keeps exporting as.

5. Presentation mode does not show latest text

   This has been happening intermittently across the last several versions of indesign:
   When entering presentation mode, I am shown an outdated version of my page. It is as if there is some kind of rendered page view cache that is not being cleared.

7. Find/Change

   Sometimes it seems that the FIND-dialog box is not opening. I had to restart my Mac mini m1. Then the function came back. Just restarting inDesign did not help.

8. Text wrap only affects text beneath not working

   Latest installed, 16.1. Text box is beneath other text, Text Wrap Only Affects Text Beneath is not checked, yet it's not wrapping. File is confidential, can send to developers if you want.

9. Colour Theme Overlay tool - floating palette does not disappear once tool deselected

   The colour theme overlay tool does not disappear once a different tool from the tool palette has been chosen. In addition, the popup to select different perceptual palettes (Bright, Colourful etc) does not always appear or appears erratically.

10. Text wrap select subject or user-modified path causes hang ID 16.1

    Using ID v 16.1 on an iMac running Catalina.
    To reproduce: I just have to touch any image that has select subject or user-modified path text wrap applied and attempt to move it or modify it in any way. One image just caused the hang by existing, I couldn't work on the file until I deleted it.
    Expected result: For the text to wrap around the image without causing program to hang.
    Actual result: endless beach ball spinning until I force quit and try again.

    I just spent the entire day trying to work on a large project (200 pages or so) with multiple images that have either "select-subject" or "user-modified path" text wraps applied, and InDesign consistently hangs. In all cases it seems to only happen if there is text wrapping (of course why else would you use it?), and some images seem ok until I try to move them or resize them. One, however, just caused a hang no matter what I tried until I deleted it altogether. I will have to revert back to a previous version of InDesign, but in the meantime, what a hassle. And exporting an IDML file just seems to make the problem worse (ie I can't even work in the new file at all, it hangs as soon as it opens). Thank you for your help with this.

11. Share for Review broken in Chrome for Reviewers InDesign 16.1

    share for review worked for me in Chrome from my own account, but when I shared it with another user, the link did not allow them to open the review in their version of Chrome. Firefox and Safari worked fine.

12. InDesign Review feature 'Draw' out of alignment in web vs app

    Hello, when i draw an annotation on the InDesign web review feature, it shows up outside of the alignment in the app. This makes the tool unusable for me with clients or as a viable option to suggest to our designers.

    Repro
    InDesign 16.1 on MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3 Apple M1 Chip
    create an indesign document
    share it for review
    in the web review tool, use the draw tool to make a large drawing
    try to preview the draw tool annotation in the InDesign app

13. Edit -> Duplicate - keyboard shortcut broken

    It has been broken for years actually, you cannot use a keyboard shortcut to duplicate. It's in every version of InDesign for years.

    Easily reproducible - select an object and try to duplicate via keyboard shortcut (command - option - shift - D).

14. File Info > Raw Data panel doesn't allow to select text and search

    The File Info > Raw Data panel stopped working as expected:

    -The search field doesn't work
    -It's impossible to even select text in the panel

    I'm pretty sure it worked earlier - so something probably got broken recently.

15. Rendering intent not being respected switching color spaces inside Swatch-Panel

    Hi there,

    so apparently the rendering intent set in the document OR the application isn't being respected when the color space of a swatch is being changed e.g. from RGB to CMYK.

    Tested in InDesign 15.1.3 and 16.0.1

    Steps to reproduce:
    1 create a new document, with working spaces sRGB and "PSO coated v3" (profile available on eci.org)
    2 create a swatch, e.g. RGB 0 / 98 / 227
    3 change to CMYK, results in the correct 90,64 / 63,6 / 0 / 0

    Now
    - go back to step 2
    - change the "Solid Color" rendering intent of the document to Perceptual
    - now change the RGB swatch to CMYK again, results in the same, but now definitely WRONG color value.

    Expected behaviour:
    after changing the rendering intent the swatch should result into
    89 / 64 / 0 / 0

    Be aware: this only affects switching the swatch. If I keep the RGB swatch and export to PDF with color conversion the applied color is correctly converted.

    It doesn't matter which color space is used , RGB -> LAB also results in the exact same values.*

    [edit: * this sentence is nonsense since rendering intent is used for mapping LAB to CMYK/RGB]

16. paragraph shading where inline table is used

    Indesign all versions:

    I often use pararaph shading to give my text some extra attention. I may also have tables in this text, that require the same shading. But unfortunately, that's not possible with inline tables. When I instead use inline graphics, the shading works as expected.

    Seems like a bug to me!

19. Fonts wont apply

    InDesign wont apply a font change. I can highlight text and select a new font but the xhamge wont apply. It immediately reverts to the original font

20. Layer comps not working with Indesign on PC

    A 32 grouped layered file originally drawn in Clip studio paint, added layer comps in Photoshop does either:
    - upon placement place correctly but does not allow the changing of object layer options. OLO has a empty grey preview and does NOT change the image after pressing ok.
    - upon "update links" crashed indesign or gives the error "cannot place this image, unsupported color space" (same image as above which DID place)

    I have tried to:
    - move the layers to a new file, same effect
    - opened other files similarly made which work
    - tried this on a MAC which worked
    - had a friend try this on her PC, which didn't work till she changed her color space settings to what I have. Her saved file from that photoshop did not work and gave the same results

    File is 1.2gb, 32 grouped layers, 32 layer comps, CMYK, default color spaces as far as I can tell
