    It says "Creator^}s" instead of "Creator's"

  2. TOC is not reading page number correcting.

    The title I'm creating TOC from contains the 'current page number' marker.

    It doesn't matter the format of the numbering I have set, ie. a, b, c or i. ii. iii or 001, 002, 003.

    it will only show the absolute number of the page in the document.

  3. the proofreader does not underline mistakes in InDesign

    The spellchecker does not highlight mistakes in InDesign, although it is "activated" in the preferences.

  5. Best update in years...Thank you!

    For years, Adobe has added cloud features, glitches, ignored issues, and created a more bloated and buggy program. This is the first update in years that has improved things people including myself have been asking for a long time (some since the birth of CC).

    Thank you! I hope this is a shift in direction as there is more to be fixed (mainly resource utilization efficiency and long requested productivity features for professionals.)

  6. Takes about 2 minutes to start up since the most recent update

    Initial boot up is terrible!. What used to take 20 seconds is now taking 2 minutes and more. I have done nothing to my computer. Please correct!

  10. Indesign type/font glitch

    Has anyone experienced a glitch which means whenever you type a certain letter in indesign it glitches?? Every time I (or others working off the same server) type "r" when writing text in a specific indesign doc (both using most up-to date version 16.1, on either mac catalina or big sur), it doesn't type "r", but also causes the text style to change to the basic paragraph text style. It does this for all fonts.
    It doesnt happen in any other documents, and we can paste "r" in or correct spelling in this document without it glitching.

  15. File Info > Raw Data panel doesn't allow to select text and search

    The File Info > Raw Data panel stopped working as expected:

    -The search field doesn't work
    -It's impossible to even select text in the panel

    I'm pretty sure it worked earlier - so something probably got broken recently.

  16. spacebar

    spacebar in indesign file doesn't work for typing a space. it works in other programs, and other indesign files. it works in command menus like the find menu. it does not work in this one particular document. I am not able to type a space between words. I have to hit CTRL+space to be able to type a space. this is a really difficult change in flow to get used to. I don't know if a hit a function that accidentally set this to be the norm. please help. I want to be able to type spaces normally...

  17. QuickLook preview?

    Almost every file on my computer is a Space Bar press away from a quick glance to review it's content. Many even allow for scrolling through the pages of a pdf or presentation, but InDesign still only displays and icon. Even with "Always save Preview Images with Document" selected.
    I've seen this issues being discussed back to 2007 and it still hasn't been addressed beyond "use a 3rd party"... that's a terrible answer to missing features.

  19. Using URL with Czech diacritics causes broken link

    When I copy URL from existing Czech Wikipedia page

    https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violka_vonná

    and assign it to text in a document, the indicator in Hyperlinks panel turns red, but when I check it’s value by double clicking the link I find the same text in the Edit hyperlink field (copy and pasting the text from hyperlinks panel to text editor proves it’s identical). When I export the to PDF, resulting the link doesn’t work and (in pop up text) shows another link’s value
