1. Indesign 2020 issue importing illustrator files, ignoring visible layers

   when importing .ai files, InDesign 2020 seems to ignore layers that are not visible on the illustrator file, it imports it all, unless you check import options as well, so they need to be done individually, rather than a bulk update if the .ai file is updated

2. Unable to add fonts to Favorites if "in-menu font previews" is turned off.

   Adobe InDesign 2020 15.0, on macOS Catalina 10.15

   After having updated to the latest version of Adobe InDesign 2020 I'm unable to add fonts to the Favorite Fonts filter. The fonts I've added to the filter from previous versions of InDesign are still there, but I'm not able to add any new fonts I have installed since.

   The star icon that previously let you add fonts to the filter is now completely gone. I can't remove previously added fonts from the filter either.

3. Packaging dialogue location default

   Please have the document packaging dialogue default to the folder the InDesign file your packaging from is located in. Up till InDesign 2020 this was the default, now it is packaging things wherever something was saved last.

4. epub 3 footnote hyperlink character style html is broken (InDesign CC 2020 v15.0)

   epub 3 footnote hyperlink character style html is broken. When exporting to an epub 3 with footnotes that contain hyperlinks, the html output is acting strange. See the below for an example as it applies a separate span character style to each word or string.

5. Text on path do not export to PDF inDesign 2020

   Text on path with outline do not export, only first letter. Even if I change the font, reimport from idml. Only if changing alignment of outline to exterior is working

6. Window positions on Mac triple screen don't hold

   On V. 15.0 I use a 27" 4K monitor arranged above two smaller HD monitors when using InDesign and Premiere Pro, for generous screen real estate. PrePro remembers to place the Program monitor on the big screen when a project is loaded. InDesign, even when the workspace is saved explicitly as "Triple," with Panel Locations and menu Customizations options checked, does not respond and loads only into the two lower HD monitors.

7. opens two documents

   When i open a document a random second document opens, usually something i had been working on earlier. Double click file A and it opens, and then File Z opens as well without the command to do so

8. Type tool hotkey still not working

   When moving from the direct selection tool to try to make a text box with the type tool hotkey (T), the hotkey still isn't working in InDesign. It shows temporarily as the I bar icon, and then keeps reverting to the direct selection tool or sometimes a disappearing + icon. It doesn't matter how long I wait or if I select the page or the pasteboard for the new text box (although I seem to have more succes on the pasteboard than on the page).. Also the direct selection key and the text tool frequently do not respond to the escape key. I am running InDD 15.0 on a MAC running OS 10.14.4. These features have not worked for at least a year. Experienced designers depend on hotkeys to expedite work. PLEASE fix it!!!!

10. Thaana text properly composed in 14.0.3 messed after converting to 15.0

    Weird changes in the text after converting file to 15.0. (Upon opening a file with Thaana text) see attached images.

    Diacritics completely messed up AFTER recomposing (change alignment or reapply World-Ready composer) See attached images.

    Cannot use double/triple-clicking to select text composed in the new composer. (can select paragraphs already composed in the previous version, if no changes are made to that paragraph.)

    To see it in a new document: create a new document, copy and paste Thaana text (ex: Dhivehi Wikipedia), apply World-Ready composer.

11. Typekit keeps breaking sync and deleting downloaded fonts

    Typekit keeps breaking sync and deleting downloaded fonts.

    When I open Indesign, the fonts I previously downloaded are nonexistant which makes working with my document impossible! This happens at least once a week and persists after multiple uninstalls, system restarts and re-installs. Sometimes, it does not sync (or only some fonts sync) even after logging in again.

    On a side note, Adobe CC downloader constantly logs me out.

    With all the--excessive--background processes adobe now forces us to run you would think there shouldn't be an issue. I am more than happy to provide feedback and system information to fix this issue.

12. Moving a page in the Pages tab moves half the contents on the page

    When you move a page (in the 'Pages' tab) half of the contents will move 3mm off like it's connected to the bleed on the background image, but half won't. My work around at the moment is to: create a new page > copy & paste in place.

13. Tired of Adobe cloud and syncing

    I have had it!
    I have so had it with you Adobe! I'm not even connected to the internet, I'm OFFLINE!!!! In InDesign, when I work with a freaking Google font called "Lato," I expect only the Google Font to be on my system fonts. Yet, you, yes, YOU want me to connect to the internet so that the font "Lato Medium" is synced into my design, which I did not even request to be synced in the first place. I never wanted the **** font, yet you force it down on me. InDesign keeps telling me that the font is missing, but I override it every time with "Lato Bold."

    So, I'm offline, and in my paragraph styles, I replace the font "Lato Medium" with "Lato Bold" and when I apply the paragraph style that has "Lato Bold" applied to it, the paragraph reverts to "Lato Medium" and InDesign keeps telling me that the font is missing. BUT I JUST REPLACED THE FONT WITH LATO BOLD!! I delete the old paragraph style, create a brand new paragraph style, choose "Lato Bold," and still the paragraph reverts to "Lato Medium," which continues to tell me that the font is missing. How in the world of any design program does THIS HAPPEN!!!!!!!!????

    You better get your software sorted, because all you care about is making more money than actually caring about your customers who pay loads of money per month! Why are you like this? I don't understand! I know there are people working at Adobe who do care about making your products better, but you corporates up there who runs the business are too **** stubborn to care about the people that want to use your products.

    I am done with you! Until you get your head out of the clouds of pride, and lower the price and actually listen to your clients for a change, I will never, ever refer anybody to Adobe and I will never use you again! Good Bye!!!!!!!

14. Can't export page range as pdf

    I'm unable to export a page range from InDesign as a PDF as I have done for decades. I get two options when I choose "range," "All" and "Letter V."

    Did you try selecting (highlighting) “All Pages” and type whatever page range you want to export?
    If you have alternate layouts and you want to export a range of pages from a particular alternate layout, say Letter V, you can also type the page range after putting a colon, like this: Letter V: 2-3.
    This has been the case for many versions and has not changed.

    MacOS 10.15(Catalina) is not supported platform for Adobe InDesign CC2017.
    In macOS10.15 Apple enforced strict 64bit rules . Older apps having 32bit components won’t be able to run on Catalina.
    InDesign CC 2017 also has few 32bit components hence, it will not run properly on macOS10.15.

    Recommendation:
    Either move back to macOS10.14 OR update Adobe InDesign to latest version that is complete 64bit.

17. Loss of typographic enrichment (italic, bold, etc.) on import

    On CC2019 14.0.3 but also on previous versions.
    When I import a Miscrosoft Word text I sometimes lose part of the enrichment. On the attached example the majority of Bold are kept but some are gone. This is very problematic when working on documents of several hundred pages.

18. No Gpu performance

    Version of Adobe InDesign : 14.0.3
    Version of MacOS : Catalina (10.15)

    Steps to reproduce the issues :
    Go to : preferences , GPU performances

    Expected result :
    Enable Gpu performances

    Actual result :

19. Missing Objects in Word pdf printing

    The file prints the banner and logo okay in pdf. But when I place them in Indesign 14.0.3 x64, and print them from there, two objects disappear. I'm also using Windows 7 7601 and latest Suitcase Fusion.

    It seems to happen with pdf files that are exported from Word from my clients.

20. Font KNU (karen) doesn't display correctly in InDesign files.

    When working on files that are written in Karen language, suing KNU font, this font is not displaying corrently.

    The same font displays fine in PowerPoint, Word, PDF software, but not in InDesign.

    Also, the accessibility information doesn't accept text in Karen.
