Still get this in 16.3.2. When are you going to fix it?

I'm having problems with red stripes showing up all the time in indesign 16.3.2, and the texts keep disappearing from the text all the time :(

I just bought an Apple Display XDR and a Mac Mini M1. Too bad this appears all the time on the screen

Still not fixed! And it's not always red...

We are still getting graphics issues on 16.3.2 across our studio - big red/yellow blocks appearing on the screen, objects disappearing, then becoming unable to be selected. How can an app that is on version SIXTEEN be so full of bugs still?

The Update to 16.2 wasn't helpful . The Update 16.3.2 isn't helpful too. Lately I get more and more the impression that every update worsens the performance more and more instead of improving it.
I uninstalled the update to 16.2 after the beachball appeared every second and got on my nerves. In addition, when I opened documents, I was shown a 10,000x magnification and only a restart helped.

Also 16.3.2 seems to be no real improvement.
No matter where I look : the new Camera-Raw, CC Lib, Illustrator (bug infested for years anyway) bugs wherever I look and it is not getting better but seemingly worse.

For the first time in years I felt compelled to create a separate folder for Adobe bug reports with subfolders for the programs. This is costing me a lot of time and money which I would rather invest in the jobs of my customers instead of bug reports or bug workarounds.

What's wrong? Not enough competition? Too full?

Adobe seems to be becoming a new breed of Microsoft products or QuarkXPress. Too bad really.
And sad.

This bug is NOT fixed in 16.3.2. We have seen this problem again today on an iMac Pro 64GB w/Radeon Pro Vega 56 8GB graphics and on a new Mac Pro 96 GB w/dual Radeon Pro W5700X 16GB graphics.

A bug of this severity that goes unresolved for MONTHS is unacceptable. The fact that Adobe has been saying "Turn off GP performance" is unacceptable. "Don't open more than one document" is seriously unacceptable. Adobe repeatedly saying "It's fixed in the latest release" is insulting.

We bought costly workstations with high performance graphics, up to 192 GB RAM and up to 16 core CPUs to be able to work faster and have multiple large documents open at once. InDesign is DREADFULLY slow, especially on basic things like exporting to PDF. We knew that throwing CPU and GPU processing power at InDesign probably wasn't going to help much, but the fact is it barely helps at all. More than a decade into the era of readily available multi-core processors and powerful GPUs InDesign (and other Adobe products) STILL barely use available power.

How can this be?

Sorry Adobe, this is not fixed one of our iMacs is still experiencing the problem and they are on the latest release of InDesign.

Hi - Does this affect Macs with the M1 Chip (I have a MacBook Air M1 2020)?

I can't see any updates in the CCD app. My Indesign version is 16.2.1

Yes, same problems for me: Red bar at the top of the pasteboard in indesign docs. Unable to select or manipulate certain text boxes. Problem seems to start when i open more than one indesign doc at a time

Sometimes colored areas appear and disappear automatically on the screen that have nothing to do with the job. I attach photos examples

This is happening on my mac laptop. Will the pre-release version fix that or is that a fix for external drives only?

When working with external screen, screen gets error lines across whole screen. When working laptop only no external screen, getting red all over.

This happens when using zoom tool, or moving objects around.

Has been happening to me for weeks - any more than one tab open and red blocks everywhere, things vanish off the page and the screen is somehow un-calibrated so selecting anything on the page is a guessing game. Re-sizing the window temporarily fixes it...until you move to another tab! I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet - so many of us rely on this software professionally and for time-critical design within supply chain etc!

Same thing happens to me. I don't use external monitors. When the red blocks appear, other functionalities (like selecting!) don't work, it's like the cursor clicks displaced from where it is located and additionally can't grasp anything. Changing the view (W) and zoom will normally help, but sometimes I have to close the document to fix it. Very annoying.

… hope this is going to be fixed asap for German users as well. Can't work fluently anymore!

Problem seems to be gone for me (MacBook Pro 15" Late 2015 with newest macOS Big Sur 11.4). :-)

I had no coloured blocks though but peculiar and unusable external display with shifted and covered contents…
