Share for Review strikethrough & highlight from online edits aren't visible in InDesign
InDesign Vs. 16 Share for Review: if the reviewer uses the strikethrough text or highlight option, I don't see these in my indesign doc. I can see the strikethrough text on the browser version, but the highlight disppears completely. The review comment is in both places, just not what it's referencing.
The fix for this issue is available in the latest InDesign release 16.2.1
Please update to this latest version to get the fix.

This is also happening to me. V16 on MacOS Catalina, latest update for that system as of this morning.
I have a 60 page document. Invite only sharing with 5 people using Adobe IDs. One of those is a reviewer account I set up with an Adobe ID so I can get client facing view too.
I moved 2 spreads up in the order and created a new spread after the cover. This has resulted in a parallel experience to the original poster.
On the reviewer account I am able to see the old version, with no page updates, and everything working as expected. I can resolve issues here and see that synced back to InDesign. If I go out to the hyperlink provided in the share dialogue, next to update button, logged into the owner account, I can’t see many of same issues I should be able to visually. I can see them listed, but they are not on page as expected. So, only the reviewer account is accurately rendering the icons on the document preview and linking them to the issues list as expected.
I have an additional issue, perhaps I should make a new thread, but it’s so basic. The show/hide button for annotations in InDesign is an endless spinning blue loader animation. I occasionally see the icon, but usually only when I first open the document and don’t scroll.
I’m happy to help Adobe in any way I can to get this fixed. Need me to send a Loom QA video, I got you. Just let me know how to help. This is a brilliant feature that needs some love.

I am sharing a layout for review and all markup being applied in the review document is showing in InDesign... Except strikethrough and replace text.
I do not have any filters active in the review panel.

InDesign is not showing a majority of the review annotations. I have it updated to the latest version (16.0) and I have preview mode turned off. It is consistently not showing on the web browser and desktop software. On the document, I have comments from the same day from the same user showing inconsistently.
Mainly it isn't showing where text has been struck-through or highlighted, but it shows where shapes were drawn just fine. The comments still show on the side but it doesn't show where the annotation is when I click on the comment, and I can't see the annotations after manually scanning the text.

See the same issue with strikethrough text.
It does not make it to the page. However, the strikethrough comment is visible in the Review panel.InDesign 16.0.1.109.

Strangely this was working for me just fine until I upgraded to Big Sur on Mac. All is good in Indesign but not on the browser review.

When using Share For Review edits can be made online with ease. But when I look for them in my InDesign document the highlights dont come through. Only the pins show. Will this glitch be fixed?
In the example there is supposed to be text highlighted and the pin.

Version of Adobe InDesign: InDesign (16.0)
Expected result: Clients uses striketrough and highlight text, adds comments. I expect to see highlighted text and comments.
Actual result: I see only comments without highlighted or strikethrough text. So I cant do changes, because I dont know where I should do this. It happens on both online and indd document.can see the comments, but the highlights are not visible. So I cant see where I should do changes in text. The same situation on online document and in indesign document.

Document is in normal mode (Screenshot_1) but doesn't show marks that are on published pdf (Screenshot_2) and if you use 'Go to review' it opens published pdf but highlighting gone as well as some of the tools (Screenshot_3).

It didn't help to solve the issue. I ensured Screen Mode is "normal", review panel is open and "show annotations" is on. I do see pins on the document. Only the highlighted text is not shown.
