I am now having this issue, worked yesterday, today broken. Adobe - take this feature out if it's so buggy, it's much worse to have to go to the client and say, now we're going back to PDF based reviews than to just use that method from the start.

This feature is the most buggy thing I've seen Adobe make in a long time.

    Matthew,

Are they logging in with Adobe IDs? I found some tools are only available if the end user is logged in that way.

This is also happening to me. V16 on MacOS Catalina, latest update for that system as of this morning.

I have a 60 page document. Invite only sharing with 5 people using Adobe IDs. One of those is a reviewer account I set up with an Adobe ID so I can get client facing view too.

I moved 2 spreads up in the order and created a new spread after the cover. This has resulted in a parallel experience to the original poster.

On the reviewer account I am able to see the old version, with no page updates, and everything working as expected. I can resolve issues here and see that synced back to InDesign. If I go out to the hyperlink provided in the share dialogue, next to update button, logged into the owner account, I can’t see many of same issues I should be able to visually. I can see them listed, but they are not on page as expected. So, only the reviewer account is accurately rendering the icons on the document preview and linking them to the issues list as expected.

I have an additional issue, perhaps I should make a new thread, but it’s so basic. The show/hide button for annotations in InDesign is an endless spinning blue loader animation. I occasionally see the icon, but usually only when I first open the document and don’t scroll.

I’m happy to help Adobe in any way I can to get this fixed. Need me to send a Loom QA video, I got you. Just let me know how to help. This is a brilliant feature that needs some love.

I am having this exact issue in reverse. Comments are only linked correctly on a 60 page document because I was cautious enough to have made a second review link for myself with another free Adobe ID.. it's showing the comments online for the test account correctly, but not indesign now that I've added and moved a few pages. So annoying!!

This review feature is a nice idea but still incredibly BETA!
