There are many internal as well as external factors that can cause the InDesign application to crash/freeze/hang.

We would recommend you to upgrade to latest version as it is more robust.

The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign – version 16.0.1.
Please update to this version to get the fix.

I am still seeing this problem. I updated to 16.0.1 yesterday and it's still doing the same thing. Suggestions?
