   This issue got fixed in macOS Monterey 12.1 and upgrading to this OS (or later) will help overcome this issue.

   The file naming is broken- sometimes highlighted, sometimes not, sometimes no extension appears, sometimes the whole bar is highlighted. This is frustrating and really slowing me down. Big Sur 11.4, Indesign 16.3.1

2. FIle extension should NOT be highlighted in the Save window.
