Incopy 2019 cannot open icap file created by ID 2019

.icap files created with ID 2019 cannot be opened with IC 2019 with error message „An error occured while opening the file.“ Tested on Mac OS X 10.12.6.

The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update 14.0.2 of InDesign 2019.
If you are unable to see the update notification yet, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
Once the update button is shown against InDesign, click on the button to update to Id 14.0.2.

    I have this same problem using Win 10, this solution doesn't help, I get the message that Ic 2019 "Cannot open CopyPlugin.vbs" file.

    PLEASE... Push the fix with the Creative Cloud Desktop app so that everyone will get it.

    I just updated InCopy and am having this problem. I now can't open any of the files that I was previously working on. Is there a fix for this yet?

    I sincerely hope a fix is in the works. Any update would be appreciated.

    We are working on multiple InCopy licenses. Having to revert to an earlier version or using an alternative distribution method is only a solution for so long.

    I posted first about this in the Community forum. The problem still persists. I have since upgraded to Mojave, and am getting the same error message in IC 2019 whenever I attempt to open an .icap file.

    IC 2018 still works.

    And whoever the dude is who keeps arguing with me and others, telling us that we should just not use this workflow and use Dropbox instead, don't bother saying it again. The software should work as advertised.

    That's the main function of InCopy, this bug is insane. What if car dealers sold new cars with engines that didn't work? Adobe fix this now.

    I've tested it with ID 2018 & 2019 and IC 2018 & 2019. The bug is in IC 2019. IC 2018 can open both ID 2018 and 2019 .icap files.
