InDesign CC 2018/High Sierra - Cannot package files
Since updating to High Sierra I am not able to package files. The error message is simply "Unable to package the document. InDesign cannot access '(file name'.indd).
I am using InDesign CC 13.0.1 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.1
Don't know if this is of any use or not, but also if I try using my bulk packaging script, the error I get is "undefined is not an object (line 186)
Hello All,
The issue has been fixed with Apple’s MacOS High Sierra 10.13.4 Beta (17E139).
You can try out the fix by updating your machine to the beta update from Apple.
Let us know if the issue is fixed for you after aforementioned High Sierra beta update.
Thanks,
Abhinav Kaushik

Does other workflows such as PDF export or IDML export work fine with the same document that fails during Packaging workflow?
Yes, all other workflows work fine. What kind of server location is it where your document is saved? Is a removable drive mounted on Mac or some network location mounted via smb?
Network drive mounted via SMBWhen the error alert is thrown, have you checked if the server is still mounted or not?
Yes, Server is still mounted. It can be of help if we can get some information about the mounted location. You can post screenshot of Get Info dialog (Press CMD I while the mounted location is selected).
Not able to upload screen shots in relpies, unfortunatleyAlso, Do you observe any error upon saving the same document when packaging has failed?
No.I am able to package the same file on other computers that do not have High Sierra installed, no issues. I get the error message every time when I try on this one though. :(

I'm getting an error that says InDesign cannot connect to the server to package my project. Am able to package with no issues on computers that do not have High Sierra installed.
I have tried uninstalling, restarting, but i keep getting this error on all print projects that i try to package.
Please fix!

I have reported this months ago and attached files at that time. I have never had any response or help about this. Paying full price ($49.99/month) is beginning to make me angry since usability is only 50%.

Never had a problem Packaging files in CS6. Now on CC 2017 I have to do it manually, which is a real time waster. Why can't it be fixed? I don not use a server, which I understand can cause problems. Fonts can be Collected/Package but not Photoshop files (tie, jpeg, psd, etc.).
