The toolbar is unable to be reached. I cannot drag the application window into complete view. I can see that it is there (2nd pic), but I am unable to move the whole window.

missing simple guillemets German version
When selecting in "Wörterbuch" the alternative German quotation mark - the reversed guillemets (».«) I can't select the simple version (›.‹).
Only the French version is selectable (‹.›) …
No other DTP software, like Quark XPress, Framemaker or ViaDesigner, has this bug, it's only Indesign …

InDesign 2021 v16.2.1: Glitchy preview on opening
InDesign 2021 v16.2.1: I have been experiencing viewing issues with the latest update. Whenever I open a file the preview is either blank (grey) or doesn't show correctly/looks glitchy. This happens on all documents that were previously fine. The preview glitch appears periodically when I'm working on the document as well as first open so I have to either close the document and reopen or, strangely, turn on/off the rulers? I haven't seen this before – any help appreciated! I have attached an initial open and after I turn on rulers screenshots to demonstrate. Please can you help?

TOC is not reading page number correcting.
The title I'm creating TOC from contains the 'current page number' marker.
It doesn't matter the format of the numbering I have set, ie. a, b, c or i. ii. iii or 001, 002, 003.
it will only show the absolute number of the page in the document.

the proofreader does not underline mistakes in InDesign

The spellchecker does not highlight mistakes in InDesign, although it is "activated" in the preferences.

InDesign UI frame changes colour
I guess this is a bug but i actually think it could be a good idea. Attached are a couple of examples of what's happened on my screen from time to time. The UI takes on a florescent colour - and all palette names/numbers, etc change to this colour.
Small appearing UI's seems to have been quite a big topic in recent years - especially as we all move toward 4K screens. So this 'bug', if that's what it is, seems to work really well for me and gives the whole workspace much more clarity. But i just have no…1 vote -

InDesign Beta Critical for Many M1 users.
I can't stress enough how important this is for many M1 users.
I have a $1.5 million grant proposal due in 6 weeks and depend critically on InDesign to draft the proposal. Things were going along great until a day or two ago when the beta expired.
Why not renew it until the public Beta is released? Or at least update the beta.
The non-M1 (Rosetta) version is very buggy and adds at least 10% extra effort to my workflow. Please help!

Best update in years...Thank you!
For years, Adobe has added cloud features, glitches, ignored issues, and created a more bloated and buggy program. This is the first update in years that has improved things people including myself have been asking for a long time (some since the birth of CC).
Thank you! I hope this is a shift in direction as there is more to be fixed (mainly resource utilization efficiency and long requested productivity features for professionals.)

Rendering bug on second monitor
Just updated to Illustrator 16.2.1 and discovered a bug I didn't have last week. This is reproducible even over a restart. What I'm doing: opening two documents and moving one to a second monitor to compare the layouts. MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Core i9 Radeon Pro 560X 4GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536MB. When I move a window to the second monitor (the Intel card), the display first is very large (one page, as opposed to spread view). Then as soon as I scroll, the content rendering gets corrupted. It might be totally upside down; or it might smear during scroll.…

Indesign is having difficulty reading some unsaved changes in 'doc_name'
After update to indesign version 16.2.1.102 (macOS Catalina version 10.15.7), indesign is asking to repair document and won't save without a 'save as'. The doc can then be saved, but closing and reopening the doc results in having to go through the whole process again!

freezing in Indesign version 16.2.1

I was working on a very important file yesterday morning using Indesign version 16.2.1 on PC window 10 and was linking images to the file when my indesign just froze. I've been having issues since where it takes for ever if at all to open any indesign file. At one stage it didn't recover my file so a message came up to ask if I wanted to recovery it....what ever option I chose I was left with Indesign unable to still function properly.
