1. False layer gets duplicated through context menu

   If for example layer 1 is selected in the layers panel and layer 2 is right-clicked, the context menu for layer 2 appears. If you choose to duplicate the layer 2, the selected layer 1 gets duplicated. Deleting works as expected.

   We have been able to reproduce the issue and it is currently under investigation.

   Workaround: Select the Layer that needs to be duplicated to avoid the issue.

2. text wrap detect edges

   ID 13.1 x64, Win 7, AI 22.1 64 bit
   Text wrap w/detect edges may not detect text in AI file, may not detect shapes well. Have AI file with graphic and text placed in anchored frame in ID doc. If set to wrap around shape, detect edges, text in ID doc runs through text in AI graphic. Also (noted in in forums ) text may not wrap around white or nearly white shapes in AI graphic.

3. Videos and buttons get cut in half when placed over a 2 page spread in Publish online and Fixed layout EPUB

   When a video or button is placed across two pages on a spread, both gets cut in half, working separately on different pages. So, if video is played in Publish Online document or Fixed Layout EPUB, only half part is played.
   Similarly with buttons, only half button gets clicked.

4. Open Recent numbering goes from 1 to 9, then 0 and then repeats 1 to 9, 0.

   When selecting File > Open Recent, and there are more than 9 items (I have it set to 20), the items are listed numerically from 1 to 9 and then 0. Then it repeats 1-9, 0. One would expect 1-9, 10, 11, 12, 13, etc.

   Obviously not a showstopper, but just something to fix.

5. InDesign 2018 crashing when I go to linked endnote text

   I'm working with linked endnotes in InDesign 2018 (version 13.1), but my file originated in InDesign 2015 (I skipped 2017). I have already saved the document as an InDesign 2018 file but seem to be having problems importing a document with linked endnotes.

   I'm starting with an old InDesign file because I'm working on volume 2 of a multi-book series and want to maintain all my old styles. I don't know if that's relevant, but I have worked successfully placing linked endnotes from word in previous books already. In this one, the endnote references appear to have links but when I click on "Go to Endnote Text" from the reference point, my document crashes. When I try to add an endnote point, my document also crashes. I think the endnotes exist somewhere because there is a paragraph style and a few character styles that I can't seem to find in the document but apparently exist somewhere.

   I don't actually know if this problem is an issue with the original Word document or with InDesign but I'm really hoping this issue can be resolved before I have to import the other chapters in this book.

   When trying to convert attached indd (7888 kb) to idml, completed idml file is corrupted (237 kb).

7. ID crashes when exporting to PDF, but not to JPEG

   I'm using InDesign 13.1 for a simple 12 page booklet (see attached)

   First issue: ID was doing background work on a file for about 4 days and then ID crashed. Now whenever I open the program it asks me if I want to do "Automatic Recovery" for the file. If I click YES or CANCEL the program crashes. If I click NO the program stays open and I can continue to work. But if I go to export the 12 page booklet to PDF it crashes.

   I have: (1) uninstalled and reinstalled ID; (2) tried to export the file to a JPEG (which did NOT crash ID); (3) tried to export a different file to PDF (ID crashed);

   There's nothing unusual about fonts or graphics here. My ID skills are very VERY basic. Thoughts? Help? PLEASE?

   Replace quotes against googies that have worked previously.
   Error when installing word file with footnotes. Changed endnotes to footnotes in the word file.

9. Bug copy and paste complex XML Element CC2018.1

   Only on CC2018.1

   The problem is highlighted by copying a complex XML TAG containing a nested structure of XML from one document to another.
   Only SOME TAG are pasted, not all and the parent TAG is missing.
   Both from programming and from interface

10. Numbered list gets corrupted when saved and opened as idml

    Version: Indesign CC 13.0 x64 Windows (and Indesign CC 2017)

    1. Create 2 paragraphstyles
    2. For ParagraphStyle 1 set bullets and numbering To List Type 'Numbers' and name it 'Multiple Choice' (or something else) and Level 1
    3. For ParagraphStyle 2 base it on ParagraphStyle 1 and change the text color
    4. Create some paragraphs with different combinations of these styles.
    5. Save as idml
    6. Open the idml
    7. Look at the paragraphs of the second paragraphstyle, you will notice that paragraphStyle 2 has a numbering of his own and no longer the mix with paragraphstyle 1.

    Expected result: Same as before the save to idml. A list with a. b. c. d. e.
    Actual result: list looks wrong like a. a. b. b. c.

    It only happens when the second paragraphstyle is based on the first style. But working with styles that are not based on eachother is going back in time.

    Attached you will find the correct indd that you can save as idml and see the result.
    Also I added 2 screenshots, 1 correct, 1 wrong after idml.

11. Export to PDF window has keyboard shortcuts ALT-e for both View and spreads but will only activate view.

12. InDesign .indd Files Opening in After Effects

    1 - InDesign CC version 14.0.2
    2 - Double click a .indd file in bridge
    3 - Opens in InDesign
    4 - Opens in After Effects

    I've reinstalled InDesign and reset the default program in windows. Any help with this would be appreciated.
