  1. Document Information disappearing InDesign on macOS Monterey

    1. InDesign 2022 v17.1
    2. Reproduce the issue: Create a text block and start typing.
    3. Expected result: you to see what you're typing / what has been placed on the page - all the information
    4. Actual result: the information I have put on the page disappears. I have to scroll away and back in order for the information to reappear.

  2. Chinese character page number rule needs to following Chinese grammar

    Chinese page number grammar after 10 is not following Chinese grammar.
    For example, page 21 in Chinese is written as 第二十一页, instead of 第二一页.

    It's horrifying seeing Chinese is been butched likt this.

  3. page disappearing

    Page has disappeared from behind objects. As if the artboard has disappeared, the page is gone but the objects remain. This has affected 20 pages or so of my document. It even exports in PDF as a blank page. I have attached images of what it looks like. This is a disaster and needs to be rectified.

  6. Script label changes not saved

    With this post I would like to report a bug again.

    When opening an existing document, selecting an object, adding a script label and saving it again, the changes are not saved! When also changing something else, all changes are saved.

    When only adding a script label and saving a document, the script label will not be added.

    This bug is more then 10 years old.

    Please fix this. Thank you.

  7. 추가 기능 건의

    윤곽선 만들기 기능에서,

    현재는 하나 하나 선택을 해서 윤곽선을 만들어 주고 있습니다.

    바로 이 부분에서,

    윗첨자로 바꾸어준 부분들이 많이 있을 때,

    이러한 윗첨자들을 한꺼번에 선택을 해서,

    한꺼번에, 윤곽선 만들기가 진행이 되어서,

    한꺼번에 윤곽선으로 만들어지는 기능이 있으면 좋겠습니다.

    이 부분이 가능해지도록 추가 기능이 설치되면 좋겠습니다.

    또 마스터 페이지 기능에서

    현재는 마스터 페이지 기능을 해체해서,

    한 페이지씩 윤곽선 만들기를 해 주고 있는데,

    이 부분에서도

    한꺼번에 윤곽선 만들기가 기능해지면 좋겠습니다.

  9. Sporadic, haphazard emboldening of footer font on document pages

    Adobe InDesign v17.0.1
    2020 Mac Mini, Apple M1 chip, 16 GB memory
    macOS: Big Sur, V11.5.2

    I have a multipage document with a folio and page number in the footer. The footer text is a regular weight Helvetica Neue LT Std (OT) font, and the folios (page numbers) are bold; the bold is nested into the paragraph style for the footers with a GREP designation.   10. Big Bug?With the same page size and margins, there is an offset after A is moved to B?

    A file and B file have the same page size and margins.
    I moved pages 1-8 of A to page 2 of B. As a result, starting from page 3, the horizontal position would shift.
    They should all be right in the version, but they don't.

    However, if you move all the pages (pages 1-17) of file A to the second page of B at one time.
    If it is correct.

    why is that?
    The reason for the coordinates? I didn't find the reason
    I tried: it has something to do with the chapter

  11. Child masters don't update

    I have child masters that are based on a parent master. When I update margins etc on the parent, the child masters are not inheriting those settings as they do in InDesign 2021. The only resolution appears to be changing 'based on' to something else, and then going back and changing 'based on' to its original parent.

  12. Pages palette not populating

    imac 10.11.6 (El Capitan) Using 2nd admin, InD files from 1st admin not populating Pages palette. Page icons appear but are blank.
    100pp magazine with many images prepped for offset printing.
    However 1st admin InD files with only text pages open fine in 2nd admin.

  13. Intel iRIS XE graphic graphic bugs using dual monitors

    Sometime its glitch graphic appear, i had to zoom in and out to sort it out, and i didnt screenshot this time (it was big one) but sometime it does appear similar like this screenhot.

    Spec: Lenovo i7 1165G, 16GB ram, 512GB NVME, IRIS XE Graphic, one laptop screen and one 24" 1080P

    Does anyone experience with glitch graphic?

  15. InDesign ignores colore profile settings

    When I create a new document, InDesign no longer uses my default color profile settings. InDesign uses the default settings (sRGB/Fogra39). I can't switch it around either. I always have to manually assign my color profiles. All other apps are using fine my settings.

  17. Just upgraded and the first file I open is duplicating lines and parts dissappear

    Scrolling is impossible - I get duplicated lines and parts of the document page disappears. In order to correct I have to do command "0" and the problem clears, but the second I try to scroll to the next set of pages it does the same thing

  19. Dragging the mouse to select text randomly moves the entire sheet

    When dragging the mouse to select text in a text box it would sometimes move the entire page and pasteboard to the left or right when reaching the text box frame. This is a very old, extremely annoying behavior. It exists at least since CS4.
    The biggest question: why does it move at all?

  20. Shortcuts for view at 200% 400% & 50% not working correctly

    Windows 10 - Indesign CC 16.4 (only just updated today 8/10)

    Issues - shortcuts
    Ctrl+5 (view @ 50%)
    Ctrl+2 (view @200%)
    Ctrl+4 (view @400%) not working properly.

    Ctrl+5 is now view @ 33.33%
    Ctrl+4 is now view @ 266.67%
    Ctrl+2 is now view @ 133.33%

    The issue doesn't seem to be a thing for Mac, they work fine.
