color limitation in underline text
When I want to have a color in the background of a text (but not the whole block, only the text), I use character style, underline option with strength and negative offset. For the color I can only choose a few others are not available. It would be nice to be able to choose any color. Any example can be found in the attached file. There I would want to have the yellow color in the dark blue color of the logo.

Text selection does not work properly with inline images
Actual result: If you place an inline image in the paragraph and the height of the image is higher than one line of text, the text selection does not work properly: the height of the highlighted area is equal to the height of the inline image (in the attached sample three lines).
Expected result: the highlighted area should only appear around the selected expression, not two lines below it.

Share for Review
I was excited to see the Share for Review feature roll-out in the newest June 2020 update. However, I have already experienced issues.
1. It only exported one page in my document.
2. I 'invited' members, but when they got the link, it prompted them to enter a password (that I never set and don't want to set).I work with a lot of non-technical savvy folks who just need the ability to see my work and comment without the need to log in or create an Adobe ID. Allow Articles Pane to scroll to add more items easily
I'm working on a document that has many articles to drag into the articles pane. It's far too easy to accidentally drag a new article into an existing one because you can't scroll up to show enough blank space in the pane. Why is there no slider in the pane so there's enough room to drag new items?

A way to extract font and text styling from an image
There should be way to capture styling information from an image. It will be helpful to find out and use the font and other kind of text styling used in an image.

Custom Signature Sizes
We desperately need to be able to create custom signature sizes for 2-up Perfect Bound booklets. Right now the only options are 4, 8, 12, 16, and 32, which is extremely limiting. Adding blank pages to fill out extra signatures is a garbage work around leading to an unprofessional product.

Include The Page / Spread Geometric Bounds When Generating InDesign Snippets
We are parsing InDesign Snippets that are dragged and dropped onto our application.
Part of this process involves us translating the page item coordinates so that 0,0 is top left.
With the metadata contained in the snippet, it is not possible to perform this translation accurately since the snippet doesn't tell us the dimensions of the spread / page it belonged to.
We partially work around this limitation today by having a page item that is the full bounds of the page which is dragged and dropped along with the other page items. However, would prefer to have something more…

Windows Could Not Automatically Detect This Networks Proxy Settings
There are a big number of users who face network issues in windows 10. A prompt shows up as ‘Windows couldn't automatically detect network’s proxy settings’ on the taskbar. The error although isn't something that's specific to any particular build. Adding one additional tool to the tools panel to delete the object
I am working with lot of icons and queries. While doing correction there are many objects should get delete, For that clicking every object and pressing delete button in keyboard takes more time. Instead if it is one dedicated tool is there so that I can click that tool when tool touches the object it delete the object without pressing delete button in keyboard. This option should work well even with anchored objects.

Table of content number cross-reference option + Texte Hyperlink
Hi all,
Two option that can really be cool in TOC are :
- an option to creat ''Cross-Reference page number''
- an option to generate an hyperlink to the destination page for the TOC entry (Text and Page number)
Like that, in bigger documents, with multi table of content (in my catalog project, I have a main TOC with all the section title + 1 TOC by section (with all the products titles and page number too). It could be great to generate those TOC automaticaly, and, have the number that are update automaticaly when we add or delete a page.

GPU preview keeps switching off
I generally make use of the GPU preview functionality built into InDesign, but recently I've noticed that files keep reverting to 'Preview on CPU'. I can't see any way of preventing this so I'm wondering if it's a bug'.
It's not a speed issue for me so much as a preview issue. Without GPU preview switched on, imported images look way too bright with particularly garish reds. I'm hoping it's a software thing rather than a graphics card on the way out. Any ideas anyone?
