Adjust Layout - Off by default please.
Finding the new Adjust Layout in InDesign 2019 a bit of a liability as is turned ON by default.
Can you please add a setting to turn off globally and turn on only when needed? Currently doesn't seem possible.
Thanks
The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update (14.0.2) of InDesign 2019.
If you are unable to see the update notification, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
Once the update button is shown against InDesign, click on the button to update to Id 14.0.2.

Yes please, turn this one off by default under "Margins and Columns". It's rather annoying.

This is not a helpful feature to have on globally. There should be an option to turn it off by default.

Having it on by default is causing huge problems for our printing house. Some people may forget to uncheck it while working and it can alter a page we didn't want altered. It should be off by default.

Please add an option for this to be permanently switched off. The feature really doesn't work well and produces completely unexpected results, especially on pages with more complex layouts and / or vector objects. This could potentially be very dangerous and very costly to your customers.

The Adjust Layout option in Layout>Margins and Columns… needs to be able to be defaulted to off. I work in prepress and have used that specific setting to adjust margins and such to insure a job will output properly. A few times that has already bitten me since the InDesign CC 2019 release. I would greatly love the ability to disable that.

Yes! Please, allow us to turn this feature off. Having it on can be very dangerous for digital prepress.

OMG. yes, please turn off this horrible new "feature". let people ask for it if they need it. i waste so much time with it - i either forget it's there and then have to revert, or i have to do the extra unclick action. just please turn it off by default.

I totally agree. This feature is so annoying. I have to change it in every document. There needs to be an override preference for all documents.

I completely agree. It is easy to forget that Adjust Layout is always on by default.

To be precise: If no document is open one cannot turn off the feature. It's grayed out.
