Bonjour,
mon équipe et moi même rencontrons souvent ce genre de problème d'affichage lorsque nous passons d'un mode à l'autre (touche W)... peu importe le document qu'il soit long ou non, complexe ou non...
est ce normal ?

Option to rotate all the contents of the multiple pages
Imagine, you are doing a big document in vertical orientation and its a lot of pages and then client ask that he wants to have it in horizontal instead. Without this function the process will take so much time it is painful to imagine!
The option is fairly simple and already there is a rotation page view exist just one step forward and it can be improved!Thank you for your attention.

Why doesn't ID have a blur filter?
My suggestion for ID is it should have a blur filter along with all the other filters available. it seems it has everything but blur. I use the gradient blur filter all the time for layouts and it's a time saver, so I would love a gaussian blur to also be there so I don't have to go back and forth from ID and PSD.

Paste an object on exactly the same place on the page
When I copy a text frame or an image frame or other object like line and paste it on another page, now it pastes randomly, and it takes time to place it where I wanted. In half cases I need to place that object on exactly the same position where it was on the page where I copied it from.
Some of your competitors have this function and it saves a lot of time. How about to implement it in InDesign and your other software as well?

Endnotes should have the same renumbering options as footnotes
Footnotes can be set to renumber every SECTION. This is OK, but could be improved (see below).
However, endnotes can only be set to renumber every STORY. This is a most undesirable limitation, because it requires breaking text threads in order to create new stories. This is destructive design—to limit potential problems it is necessary to wait until layout is completed before breaking threads. Even then, problems can still occur.
This problem could easily be fixed by allowing endnotes to be renumbered the same ways as footnotes can be—every section.
Of course, renumbering every section also has a significant limitation—it…8 votes -
Make Text variables recognise text variables 'from previous page'
At the moment for dictionary-type work, using text variables for running heads gives you the option of showing the first word on the page on left-hand page running heads, and the last word on the page right-hand pages. BUT where the feature lacks is if the left-hand page starts half-way through a paragraph. For example, if the last dictionary word on the right-hand page is 'peanut' but the paragraph goes over to the next left-hand page, you want it to show 'peanut' at the top of this left-hand page as it is a continuation from the previous page, but you…

location included on recents page
i would like to see the path/location listed with the file name on the recents page of all adobe programs. i often save a document with the same name to an external drive and when i next open my recents page, i might open the backup copy by mistake. i wouldn't do this if i could easily see the location of my files. office 365 does this on all its programs and it is really helpful. thanks.

Open as Copy or Open as Template
Rather than opening an existing file and then "save as" I'd like the option to open an existing file as a COPY or TEMPLATE. This would help in environments with many users from accidentally saving over a file and would allow a user to open a document currently in use by another

Open a .psd file and be able to actually still make edits
I feel the programs should work more seamlessly together. For example, I want to open a .psd in indesign and still make changes to the fonts/text/placements. As of right now, all I can do is place the .psd in indesign, and it acts as an image, not an editable file. Which sucks. Much help appreciated. Thank you.

Italics shown in text variables
When you use text variables for running heads, if the chapter title has one of its words in italics, for example, the text variable does not recognise the italics. You can therefore not use a text variable in this instance without lots of cheating to get round it.

Add the ability to disable pages
It would be great to be able to disable pages, similar to how you can disable elements in Premiere. A disabled page would keep it's content and place in the document, but would loose its page number and not be able to be edited until it's re-enabled.
This would make it easier to manage pages that need to be removed from an export, but may still want to be re-added later on. It could also help in keeping clear what pages didn't require any more work, or have all their content confirmed.
Thanks!

With a specific paragraph style character style page, automatically apply a specific home page?
With a specific paragraph style character style page, automatically apply a specific home page?
For example, in the start page, we only need to display "Chapter 1" and "Chapter 2". We chose to apply the "None" home page. Now it's manual. It's a lot of trouble.
These pages are not the same as the home pages of the front and back page applications.
I think it's more convenient to apply a specific home page to pages with certain paragraph style or character style.
Maybe you can use the chapter to judge the application of a special home page, which is…

Open other file formats in InDesign
I love how I can create my publications amazingly with InDesign, but I really need to edit other files on devices.
I have PUB files that I created when I was using Publisher 2019 back then, but I can't seem to open them with InDesign. Being the industry standard in desktop publishing, I can't believe that I cannot edit other files.
I hope this gets added.
Sincerely,

Rename “Master Pages” to “Parent Pages”
The quote below is from the 30 Aug 2020 Washington Post. My request is to stop using the word “master” in InDesign and change to “parent/child” or another set of neutral terms.
“After the police killing of George Floyd, overdue conversations about race started happening.... Computer- and photography-related groups discussed doing away with problematic technical terms like “master” and “*****” that have long been used to refer to components that control others.“
EDIT: The asterisks in the WaPo quote were put in place by the forum interface, not by me. IMHO, this confirms my point.

Page Numbering "Don't Include in Page Numbering" Option
I use INDD for proposals that include covers and tabs. Right now, it's pretty cumbersome to get the cover and tabs to not be included in the page count. Currently, you have to restart the number at a specific interval based on where the tabs are at and change your cover and tabs pages to include a Section Prefix as to not duplicate page numbers, so it's a little tedious. So my first three pages are called A1 A2 and A3...then 1 2...then B3 (for tab 1)...then 3 4 5 etc. Can we just have a "check box" under Numbering…
