    The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.0.1.205). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.

    If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

    Based on internal investigation and customer comments, we have concluded that the issue got fixed in InDesign 15.0.2 and that issue happens with InDesign 15.0.1 version only.

    Please start a new thread in case you see the issue happen with InDesign 15.0.2

    This trouble happened at first, but now it doesn't happen.
    But, occur when intentionally installed Version 15.0.1.

    環境 : InDesign 2020（15.0.2 日本語版）+macOS（10.15.3と10.14.6で確認）

    ・2つのテキストフレームを作成し、連結する
    ・テキストフレーム設定で自動サイズ調整を設定する
    ・2つのフレームに入るようにテキストを挿入する
    ・テキストの回り込みを設定したグラフィックフレームを重ねる
    ・グラフィックフレームを適宜動かす (この時点で描画が正常ではなくなる)
    ・Command+Wで書類を綴じる

    この動作の際、通常は保存確認をしてきますが、突如InDesignは終了してアプリケーションクラッシュの状態になります。
    またCommand+Wを行わず、Command+Sで上書き保存をしながら試した際、最終的に保存できなくなる場合もあります。

    この問題はWindows版では発生しません。
    また比較として macOSにEnglish (North America) 版を入れて同一の操作をしましたが、発生しませんでした。
    よって日本語版固有の問題である可能性が高いです。

    （そちらに類似のUser Voiceに関する指摘がありますが、本件は別の問題と思われます）

    Hi all,

    We tried various scenarios with the attached file and got the following results:

    1. Placed the ‘EXIF-Orientation-6.jpg’ file shared in the thread.
    -Rotation angle of the content was shown as -90°

    2. Edited the .jpg file in Photoshop to just change the color and Updated the link in InDesign.
    -Rotation angle of the content was changed to 0°

    3. Then placed this edited file again, as a new link, in InDesign.
    -Rotation angle was shown as 0°

    Thank you for reporting the issue to us.
    We have fixed the issue in the latest version of InDesign, Id 14.0.3

    Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the fix.

    If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud desktop application, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right corner and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.

    If you face any problems with the new update, do let us know in the comments.
