Hello All,
We thank you for your patience all this while.
Addressing this problem has been tricky for us given the random nature of the issue.
Determined to resolve the issue, we had launched our investigation into the matter to identify the root cause and fix it.Many of you must have received email from us seeking more details about the issue.
We have concluded our investigation and came up with the below mentioned finding:
It was found that, most of the times, users were trying to drag an empty polygon which was leading the confusion because the legacy behaviour of InDesign allows dragging of polygon only from its edges or the centre most point.
If the user tries to drag it from any other position, the object cannot be moved. We have tried to improve the user experience in this regard. You can try the same in InDesign’s latest…

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/fixed-issues.htmlAn error occurred while saving the comment David Whitmyre commentedWhen selecting a different font via the font dialog drop-down, and you scroll up or down away from the currently selected font, after one or two seconds the dialog box will pop back to the currently selected font. This is highly annoying when you are searching/browsing for a different font to use and it keeps popping back to the currently selected font.
In ID 2018 it happened at a semi-annoying rate, but in ID 2019 it happens almost immediately after scrolling away from the currently selected font. This problem has escalated to bug status in my mind. Now annoying has turned to almost unbearable! Please look at this.

InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment David Whitmyre commentedI installed the beta build (14.0.1.209) last week 11-15 and the problem was fixed. Now my Creative Cloud panel shows that I am up to date. Is this a safe build to be running on? Will you have an official update, or is 14.01 the official update? Since I am running on the beta build I just want to be sure something isn't going to go to crap on me.
An error occurred while saving the comment David Whitmyre commentedInstalled the latest beta build (14.0.1.209) The issue with clicking into a text box and ID freezing has been resolved. It is working correctly. I have Control Panel open, am not using the Properties Palette. I have opened and edited several documents in a row without issue.

Program opens fine. I can select different items in document, open menus, etc.
When I double-click into a text document, the whole program freezes. Text cursor stays and I can no longer select anything or close the program. I have restarted all adobe programs, restarted the computer and same result.I expect to be able to edit the text and continue editing my document.
I cannot use 2019 at all. I have reverted to 2018. -

An error occurred while saving the comment David Whitmyre commentedJust installed the latest updates to ID, AI and PS. Yes, you can now set the recent fonts to 0 (zero) in Illustrator. However, if you do set it to 1-15 it still performs the SAME WAY! It will pop to the top of the font list. You have solved only ONE PART of the problem—giving AI users the ability to turn off recent fonts. (FYI - works the same in all three applications)
Unless you move to the selected font in the list WITH the recent fonts at the top, recent fonts is essentially USELESS! Nobody is going to use it.
Please get it right! Make the list go to the currently selected font WITH the recent fonts showing. Only then will it function correctly. CorelDraw has done this for 20 years. If you can't figure it out, buy Corel Corp., and implement their code into yours!!

This is still happening! It's October 2019! Problem first reported in early 2018!!!!
I am running 14.03. When will this be fixed? It has happened to me several times. Shane, closing Illustrator did not help. But thanks for the suggestion. At this point, if I have to stand on my head and rub my belly, I'll do it just to make this work! Very debilitating!
