2. InDesign won't find fonts in file package if the file is in a Dropbox folder

   Version: InDesign 14.0.3 macOS Catalina
   Steps: 1. Package a file and include fonts
   2. Move the package anywhere in the local Dropbox folder
   3. Make sure fonts are not locally activated/present
   4. Open file
   Expected result: InDesign opens fonts in the "Document fonts" folder
   Actual result: InDesign reports fonts as missing
   [Same package moved to Desktop, everything works fine]

3. Reaching InDesign’s limits when importing XML

   Late 2013 Mac Pro (3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5, 16 GB 1866 MHz DDR3, AMD FirePro D500 3072MB, Mojave 10.14.2)

   2017 iMac Pro (2.3 GHz Intel Xeon W, 64GB 266 MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro Vega 64 16GB, Mojave 10.14.4)

   InDesign CC 2019

   Steps to reproduce the issues:
   - Create XML file (8k lines) to import copy into InDesign with tags and linking to 700+ images (343x343px, CMYK jpegs)
   - Create 74pp InDesign template 12 text boxes per page, content flowing, with 50+ paragraph and character styles
   - Expected result: Text and images flowing through text boxes, allowing editing and tidying up.
   - Actual result: After getting through some pages the software is slows down, beach-balling, the screen goes blue. 50 pages seems to be the maximum it can handle.
   - BUG: Even with very powerful Macs with massive processors, graphic cards etc. Producing a book (400+ pages) the XML and the inDesign document needs to be split in files 50pp or less.

   I can’t upload samples as files are confidential (annual international publication) and there’s too many. Happy discuss in private and transfer some packaged inDesign files and xml to private and secure location.

5. Spell Check Defaulting to Check Document. Needs to Default to Current Story

   Spell Check in Indesign is defaulting to checking the entire document. I need it to check the story. Or, at the very least, allow me the option of telling it to default to checking the current story.

6. Pages Panel shows scroll bar starting at wrong page

   This only happens on startup of InDesign.

   I open a document that has many pages from 2 -120.

   The Pages panel has the scroll bars positioned at the top, next to pages 26-27.

   If the scroll bars are at the top of the document, then pages 2-3 should be showing.

7. Stop showing the "Setup Libraries Your Way" EVERY TIME I open creative cloud library

   This thing is beyond annoying. Yes it was helpful the first time I saw it. But once I clicked it off once, I never needed to see it again. But this little f***er shows up every time I open the CC libraries after a restart. GIVE ME A DON"T SHOW AGAIN..... Please.

8. CC library desconfigured after dragging in a table

   Hi there,
   I dragged a table from one page to the cc library panel and it turned black with code characters in colors. I lost all the libraries... can not find them anymore, not even delete this code or replace. Nothing. Please help

9. InDesign to InCopy Layout Malfunction

   My company's graphics department develops scientific posters, and as a writer, I often have to make small adjustments to the text and am only given access to edit through InCopy (using version 14.0.2). This problem does not happen with every poster, but I often find that the whole frame of the poster is shifted when I open the assignments file in InCopy (please see example photos). I'm able to make my edits, but I can't export to a PDF without having the bleed, header, etc. shifted as I see it in InCopy. Our graphics department thinks this is a bug in my software. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success. Any help please???

10. Add attributes of currently selected text or object to the "Find/Replace" dialog

    Here's an idea. It would be cool if the attributes of whatever you currently have selected, be it text or an object, could be quickly added to the Find/Replace dialog as your "search" terms. That way you don't have to go through and find all the attributes you want to search for, you could just select something that already has those attributes applied and then search. For instance, if you selected text that was bold italic, red, and 12 pt of a certain font and paragraph style, then those attributes could be loaded in the search box instead of having to input each of those to find all text that has those same attributes.

11. Find/Change bug in Indesign 13.1.1

    Text Find/Change seems to have a bug: let's suppose we have 2 paragraph styles, for example a title style and a body text style. In the document I received from our partner sometimes the body paragraphs wear the title style and they were manually overridden to look like the body style. To fix this error I tried to search for texts that has the title style but the font used is that of the body style. Indesign Finds something at the beginning of the body paragraph (a thin cursor-like thing can be seen there: it is the selected something) that is - as Indesign states - of the title style. But as you can see on the screenshot it is definitely not of the title style.

    In grep Find/Change the problem doesn't exist.

12. I use Indesign 14.0.1 English (hebrew supported). The change character direction is missing

    I need the feature that was previously available: to adjust / change character direction. For example changing the direction of a hyphen from left to right to the oppoisite (right to left). It was availbe up till now. Where did it go?
    In addition, the special ME characters are absent.

13. TIFF images as assets in CC Libraries are always placed as PNG images on the document page

    1. Affected: InDesign CC all versions that are working with CC Libraries.
       Tested with InDesign CC 2018.1 and InDesign CC 2019 version 14.0.2.324 on Windows 10. InDesign versions on Mac OS X are also reported.

    2. Steps to reproduce the issue:
       Do a new CC Library.
       Add TIFF images saved from PhotoShop CC 2019 to the new library.
       Two options how you can do this that I know of:
       A. Drag the files from your file system to the open and empty library.
       B. Use Adobe Bridge CC 2019 to drag files to the open library.

    3. Expected result:
       If I want to use an image TIFF asset in my layout and place it on the page from a CC Library the placed image should show up as TIFF image with all the right properties, like the right color space, original resolution etc.pp.

    4. Actual result:
       The placed TIFF is converted to PNG, color space is always RGB, regradless of the original. Always indicating transparency. Even if the original file stored in the CC Library has no transparency at all.

14. table formatting

    Menu for formatting Table 'alternate row' shading, doesn't make sense — it gives options for 'Every other row' and 'Every second row'. To me those are redundant.

15. DataMerge facing pages odd disposition

    Indesign 2019 14.0.2 x64 on Windows 10
    I have created a data merge document that uses a facing pages master. My document before DataMerge only has one page. When the document is created only right pages are created, but the spread come back to facing pages if I add a second layout or if I toggle "allow selected spreads to shuffle" off and on again.
    If my model has two pages, the document after DataMerge creates a list single right and left pages alternated untill you change the layout or toggle shuffle.
    I think that it should be a spread of continuos facing pages from the beginning.

16. Ctrl + Tab Keyboard Shortcut Bug

    I tried to assign "Ctrl"+"Tab" to "Window Next" (to get the same shortcut as OS-default) but Indesign seems not to do anything when hitting this shortcut. When assigning other shortcuts to the same action it works.

17. Indesign CC 2015

    When editiing text and applying styles using the eyedropper tools some users in my production team are using the colour theme tool by accident.

    This is then applying the rich black colour swatch to pages that should only be using true black. Can you change the default colour to true black or allow the default colour to be changed.

    Alternatively could you add a feature to customise the toolbar so you can remove/add tools that you want.

18. Variable chapter number

    The variable 'chapter number' gives a problem, wherever it is used it is represented as '1'.
    Because chapter numbers and paragraph numbers are not included in the Continuous header, it is useful if it can be displayed separately.
    Is it possible to include this numbering in the variable in the future (as an option)?

19. Can't press 'Done' in Adobe Comp after adding columns and guides

    If I go to settings, add guides, I will not be able to get out of the settings as the done button does not work

    Worked with support and they are saying it is not a bug, but offered no further steps other than posting here

20. Inaccessible URL Link in preflight panel

    Inaccessible URL link option in Preflight panel is not working after implementing Adobe CC version. It was working in CS5 but in all CC version still CC 2019 is not working.

    For Digital purpose we need this option. I attached screen shot for your reference

    In the attached screen shot there is one dead link it shows red color in Hyperlink window, but the indesign preflight panel shows No Error. If its working properly mean it need to be show error
