Round Picture Frame with Inner Stroke Leaks
Using a circular Image Frame with an Inner Stroke, let some of the placed graphics (in this case an .ai) leak outside.
This makes it useless, and causes the need to add extra elements to cover the artifacts.
It is visible in both InDesign preview (High Quality) and the exported .pdf.

Can't sort by group or type when Relinking to CC Libraries
When relinking to CC Libraries, you have no choice but to see a list of randomly sorted (or alphabetically sorted.. who knows) assets in CC Libraries. Users should be able to sort by Type or Group like in the normal CC Libraries panel.

CC Libraries content icon with spinning wheel
I have a 3GB CC Library full of adverts for a magazine. Whenever I drag a new advert over to the CC Libraries panel, it will add the new artwork, but then its icon will show a blank square with four spinning squares inside. This has occurred ever since ID v15. I'm currently using v15.0.2.

Proportion lock is ignored when scaling.
I've placed a bitmap on my page. When scaling it with the scaling tool and the proportion lock engaged, proportions aren't maintained.
2 votesScaling with the Scale Tool scales the objects without taking into consideration the Constraint Lock icon, it works independently of the state of this icon. Only when you use the W & H fields, the Constraint icon is used.
So, it is not a bug. You can also see this work similarly in Adobe Illustrator too.—

svg mask
InDesign does not keep masks that are embedded in the SVG. It ungroups them, causing hidden parts of the SVG to display.

Links are not displayed
Although all my images and graphics are linked correctly and there are no errors, when opening a file, they are appearing as grey boxes. Some images are working but most of them are not. Also PDF export is therefore not working (error message attached). It doesn't matter which file type my links are as it's happening to all kinds of them (mostly TIFF and AI). Perhaps worth mentioning that this problem didn't occur in ID2019.

Textwrap 2020
Textwrap from old saved document takes spacing from paragraph indent...Thus you can see the very wide right margin for image.
2 votesPlease select the Text Wrap object and check the different Offset values specified in the Text Wrap panel.

Placed rotated PDF - incorrect view in InDesign 2020
Has anyone noticed the following erroneous representation (high-resolution rendering) of placed PDF when rotated (e.g., 90º)?
Concerns x4 as well as x1a.

updating a placed multipage pdf
Hello,
When a multipage pdf is placed in InDesign, and an update of the pdf is needed, it is possible to do 'update link' in the links panel. But when 'show import options' is ON (in the 'place' window), all of the placed pages of the pdf will be replaced by page 1 of the updated pdf.
For my opinion, if you want to update the instances of a placed pdf, the responsive pages have to be updated. At least the option must be accessible when updating the link.2 votes -
Imported CMYK JPEG files appear inverted or as negative
Reproduced in Adobe InDesign CC 2018 and 2019 on Mac and PC
1) Converted a PDF file to a CMYK JPEG and a RGB JPEG
2) Import both images into InDD
3) RGB image previews/prints correctly
4) CMYK image previews/prints as inverted/negativeThe CMYK file opens correctly in other apps: Photoshop, Illustrator, Preview, Web Browsers, etc.

CC Library after last update now puts white box around all graphics
After the latest update, when I use my library to place a logo on a page in InDesign, it now almost looks like a white background PNG instead of the logo without any background. Running into printing issues with white boxes around all of our CC Library Graphics.

Assets renamed in web view of CC Libraries don't retain name when imported into document
I've been creating some CC Libraries with quite a few logo assets and have found it easier to do the renaming of the files in web view because it lets me copy/paste a file name, whereas the CC Libraries panel does not.
I've just come across the issue that even though the names appear to have synced when I view the files in the Libraries panel, when I drag/drop or right-click > Place a file into my actual document, the name disappears from the asset in the Links panel. It defaults to whatever it was when i created the asset…

updating links
When updating links in InDesign CC 14.0 (an InDesign file linked to 4 instances) the update comes in too large for the frame. So you have to Fit Content Proportionally. This happens with PSD and AI files as well.

import resetted
Import a photoshop file into Indesign, adjust size and detail selection of the picture. Then Opt-double-click the picture in Indesign to work on the imported file. The file opens in Photoshop and you can work on it, like adding filters, layers etc. Save youor modifications in Photoshop and go back to Indesign. You will notice that all adjustments in Indesign are resetted and you have to do it all again: select detail, adjust size etc.
This really sucks!!!2 votes
