Wrong use of German term »Nutzen« in the PDF export options dialogue
The term »Nutzen« is not used correctly as this usually refers to how many units of a design you put onto a printing sheet.
What it should read in the options is simply »Doppelseite« or »Doppelseite fortlaufend« or »Doppelseite (Deckblatt)« or »Doppelseite fortlaufend (Deckblatt). The term »Nutzen« should be omitted completely.

The issue has been fixed in the latest release of InDesign – InDesign 2021.
Please update to this new version of InDesign to get the fix.

OK, that’s an acceptable compromise.

A in my opinion better term would be ‚Montagefläche‘ ( the mounting surface [I‘m not sure if thats the correct english term for n pages mounted on the ‚printing plate‘, where it doesn‘t matter if n up pages in any orientation, size or arrangement])

Dear Ravi! Yes, to have consistency with Acrobat would be desirable and I guess »Zwei Seiten« is ok.
