Share for Review- White/Black screen only
When I try to Share for Review, I only see this. I have updated my software to the most recent release. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
The fix for this issue is available in the latest InDesign release 16.2.1
Please update to this latest version of InDesign to get the fix.

Any update on this? Been 6 mo and it's still wildly buggy.
Crashes InDesign, disappears randomly, when it is working comments often don't link up with the location they are supposed to be referencing, and resolved comments often show up even after being resolved. Even signing in and out/restarting ID does not fix. This is really frustrating as this is a feature that is advertised when the program opens but it doesn't work AT ALL. I decided to give it a try because I had a project with a lot of copy edits but instead of helping streamline the project it tripled the amount of time I had to spend on it AND angered my client.
PLEASE FIX THIS. (And if it can't be fixed in a timely fashion, at least remove it from the new features until it functions better.)
It would be an incredibly helpful feature to have if it worked as advertised.(Edit: I have the latest version of CC ID 2021 - freshly updated. Have tried restarting ID and logging in and out of Adobe - neither fixed the issue. The feature worked for one round of edits and then completely vanished.)

Same here and that's a shame because it's an amazing tool! Very useful

It's happening for the first time for me. Indesign got shutdown due to a "serious error" afterwards nothing cures blank Share For Review window. Restarting CC or MacBook doesn't help. I'm on Big Sur.

I too am having this problem with InDesign 2021. I've updated Creative Cloud, signed in and back out again. I'm on a Mac running Catalina 10.15.7.
Once this function works it could be a very useful tool in my workflow. -

Oh boy. Got the "black screen of wasted effort" for the first time today. WTF has this not been fixed yet?

Ditto. Awesome feature ... almost. Adobe, I would love to help. What do you need from us to make this feature work?

Same here. It worked one day. Now I also see a blank screen. Very sad. The Tool has great potential. I hope it runs reliably soon.

I am also having this issue. Trying to get a magazine created by the end of the week and was hoping to use the review function. On Catalina.

I'm getting this too (in Big Sur), but there are lots of other issues with the reviewing tools – which is a shame; I was really excited by them but they're so unreliable at the moment that in many cases I've reverted to tracking changes in Word and copying them over manually.

I'm getting this as well. I was using the previous version and just updated. Unfortunate as it's a great feature and my team is global. Please fix!

This is buggy for me too. It works then doesn't work. I log out/ log in to CC. Restart. Close InDesign.
Its a continuous revolving door of frustration.
