Media panel gone HUGE
So, after running in a while on the new Adobe 2020 app, I noticed that the Media panel started to grow in size each time I opened the tab. Before I could notice, the Media panel was absolutely huge.
I tried to:
Reset the workplace
Reset the UI scalling
Uninstall and Install again InDesign 2020 (While removing UI Preferences)
Restart PC
Nothing has worked.
The only solution that seems to work as of right now is to downgrade to 2019.

The issue has been fixed in the latest release of InDesign – InDesign 2021.
Please update to this new version of InDesign to get the fix.

I have the same problem. I also have a problem with EPUB panel, it does not open.

I'm in the same boat - the media panel opens up, continually expands and then crashes on me.

I am having the same problem. My Media Panel, when I first activated in Window-Interface, came up normal (or so I thought) then it increased in size beyond my screen's limits then back down to just a bar and then disappeared. I rebooted everything and eventually after several attempts it showed back up as just the top bar before I ever opened any docs. After opening the doc it disappeared then mysteriously showed back up, but the bar does nothing. Other strange things started happening after that where I would click on the top bar of my preview panel and it would stick to the cursor. No amount of clicking, hitting esc or anything would allow it to let go. I finally reinstalled InDesign to no avail. Attached is a doc with screenshots.

My media panel just came up again but it's just the top bar and apparently it is infinitely wide. I've been moving it to the left and it has no end. Really weird.

Same problem--has been going on for a long time but I never checked into it because I don't place video very often. Now I need to and this is driving me crazy. Sometimes it's HUGE and other times it appears normal but when I click into it, it disappears completely, never to return until I reset my workspace. Glad I checked here before reinstalling and doing major surgery on InDesign. This is on Windows 10 Pro desktop.

Same problem. Seems to happen when exporting from Premiere Pro with both the programs open...

Same issue here, I cannot open the media panel, it freezes my whole InDesign. A tool I am not able to use at all.

Fix the bugs with InDesign 2020.
One problem is the Window-Interactive-Media does not work. Media Settings Window does not show up 95% of the time. When it does you cannot change Media settings.
There are more problems than this in InDesign 2020. Poor release. -

Seems like it is a Surface only problem, I can run it at a old PC and it works, but I prefer working on my Surface Studio!
