Media panel gone HUGE
So, after running in a while on the new Adobe 2020 app, I noticed that the Media panel started to grow in size each time I opened the tab. Before I could notice, the Media panel was absolutely huge.
I tried to:
Reset the workplace
Reset the UI scalling
Uninstall and Install again InDesign 2020 (While removing UI Preferences)
Restart PC
Nothing has worked.
The only solution that seems to work as of right now is to downgrade to 2019.

The issue has been fixed in the latest release of InDesign – InDesign 2021.
Please update to this new version of InDesign to get the fix.

I am having the same problem. It appears sometimes but will go black again after attempting to embed a video.

Having trouble also with the media panel, since the newest update of Indesign.
I've found when re-installing the previous version the media panel works
- but then crashes when exporting as an interactive PDF.Can you please advice Asap. Thanks.

My media panel will not display at all. It showed once, now it doesn't show up at all, regardless of how I try to open it. I NEED THIS FIXED!!!

Same issue August 6th. Windows 10.
According to this forum, problem has persisted for community since November of last year.

I'm having the same problem, I managed to put it into the sidebar but then nothing happens upon clicking it. Please sort this out ASAP, the original issue has been reported over a month ago now...

This exact problem has just started for my program. I can't use any of the controls and it is even difficult to move and close the oversized media panel. I need to publish a digital newsletter, a fix to this immediately would be good.

I have the same issue and it only seems to be happening on my PC. My mac works fine. I was hoping the latest update would fix it but to no avail. I teach InDesign at my university and this has become an issue with online teaching. Most of my students have a PC and they are reporting the same error.

The media window is not opened in InDesign. The media window is open, but there is nothing on my actual screen. Even when the media window is open, a very long window is created, but the program has never actually worked.

Same for me, must be a bug - Adobe please sort out ASAP. It is making using it impossible, which impacts on the design.

hi guys, I have the same problem here, I tried to reset UI, it worked well at first then it went wrong again.
I have attached a screenshot that shows the problem.
