Undo Not Working properly in InDesign 2020
InDesign CC 2020 Undo goes back to last saved version. It does not go back one step with Command-Z. Therefore, I lose all edits made since last save. It also crashes frequently
The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign – that is, InDesign 15.0.2.
Please update your InDesign application to get this fix.

I'm having the same problem and I'm in the middle of learning InDesign in an adobe class. I have NO undo option or save-as and I'm just just learning this program. Is this really the "top" program of choice for professionals? Because this is pathetic. If I can't fix this I have no choice but to be done with adobe before I even get started.

I am having this problem as well. Transitioning from CS5 on a brand new MacBook Pro has been the absolute worst experience. The time lost, the frustration and the complete lack of support is astounding! I pay how much a month for this? According to this thread, the problem has been going on since last year and you guys have not been able to fix it?!?! To add further insult, like rubbing salt and lemon juice to a festering wound, I see the latest post by smiling ADMIN Ravi Kiran, saying it's fixed........ Complete and bold faced lie. I have the latest version and yet, no command Z, No Save as unless it is a brand new file. When can I expect to have a product that works as well as the version I purchased years ago? What kind of compensation and support can I expect?

We also have the same problem in our agency with the Indesign version 15.1.2. Using comand +Z the programm is jumping to the last saved step and it is not possible to go back for single steps!!!
We have 2 brand new iMacs. On one it works as ist schould, and on the other it doesn't!!!
We can't work with this programm on that station with this problem! Please fix it!! -

I am using InDesign 15.0.2 and Command Z Undo still does not work. Irritating as ****. What's next? No cut and paste? Not acceptable at all.

I have the most up to date version of indesign, just made a new file (the first time ive used this program in about a year) literally the first new file I made this happened about 3 hours into working. Seems like this has been an issue since 2010. Whats the point of this program existing if you can't save your work?

is adobe going to throw out a new update to fix the bug? im super annoyed with the fact I can't undo my stuffs.

Bug still exists in 1.5.1.1 - and no, I do not have Adobe World Composer set, so that's not the problem (or the workaround). I also have no apps with "secure text entry" as an option, and it is not turned on in the macOS 10.15.5 Terminal app.

How is it that this bug is back in 15.1? By my count, this same bug has been fixed at least twice already in the last few years.
