can't place image on rotated page
When placing an image on to a rotated page the image is placed outside the work area! Does not mater if I choose place from the File meny or drag and drop from the desktop. No mater where I place it on my page it gets sent way out with no chance of selecting it. InDesign CC 2019 (14.0)

Please, solve this issue. It's been two months since it has been signalled. And still nothing done.

Hi Aman,
I can confirm the issue. Just tested.
If the spread is rotated the image will be placed somewhere else if you do not place it on the first spread of a document! That will happen when you click the place gun to unload it or if you drag out a rectangle with it.Also note that setting the zero point anew with dragging out the cross-hairs on rotated spreads is broken ( EPV issue since day one when rotating spread views were introduced ).
I also see a big difference to CC 2018.1 not only where the image is placed, but how it is rotated when it is placed. With CC 2018.1 it is placed so that the rotation of the view has no impact. With InDesign CC 2019 rotation of the view will also dictate rotation of the image while placing. And that's perhaps a good thing. Make it a preference one can turn on or off so that the user can decide if the image is placed and rotated with the rotated view or not.

Further testing shows that it only affects when you have entire spreads rotated and several pages in the document so that the further down you go the further away the image ends up. Eg. on page 2 the image is still close to the page while on page 10 it is already out of reach.
