indesign crashes very regularly

Indesign crashes very often these days giving this message [/Development/siriusr11/external/dva/adobe/dvaui/ui/src/OS_UI.cpp-4645], but not autosaving. It seems to happen at different times, can't pinpoint why it does

We have released an update for InDesign CC2019 (v 14.0.1) which contains some stability fixes. If you are not already on 14.0.1 (build 209), then we recommend you to update to latest version.

If you still face this issue even after updating, please submit the crash report to us.

Also, please send the following information to santalwa@adobe.com :

• Reproducible Steps – What were you doing when InDesign crashed?
• Error snapshot or video recording of the issue.
• Is the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If yes, can you please share the document(s)/asset(s) with us?
• Does trashing InDesign Preferences and Cache help resolve the issue? Please take a backup of the same before trashing them.

    Hi,
    Myself Sanyam Talwar from InDesign Engineering team, I am currently investigating the current issue.

    During our analysis of issue mentioned in the thread, we found that you had reported a crash with an older release of InDesign.

    We have released InDesign CC2019.0.1 with lot of stability fixes. If you are not on 14.0.1.209 then I would recommend you to upgrade to latest version as it is more robust.

    If you still face an issue with the latest release, please submit the crash report. Guidelines to submit crash are available at https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/submit-crash-reports.html

    Also, Please send the following information to santalwa@adobe.com.
    • OS
    • System configuration
    • Reproducible Steps – What were you doing when InDesign crashed?
    • Error snapshot or video recording of the issue?
    • Is(Are) the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If Yes, Can you please provide the document(s)/asset(s)?
    • Does Trashing preference and cache, please create a backup of Preference and cache before trashing them, help to resolve the issue?

    Yes, my InDesign (running Windows 10, just upgraded to Adobe CC, and my InDesign is version 14.0) crashes multiple times per day. Coworkers of mine who run the same version don't have this issue. Please help! Now, when it crashes, it's starting to corrupt my files. There's no rhyme or reason to the crash - i've been doing different things each time when it crashes.

    Indesign program stop working all the time and it ignores my updates, so I have to do it all the time again. I've paid this program and it dont works. So frustrated...

    When scrolling through my document (101 Pages) while in the overprint preview. I've had the program crash.
    It doesn't completely crash but all my pages are blank and the computer is locked. When I restart the computer and then Restart Indesign (at least 10 minutes) my document reappears but not in the overprint preview. It has happened to me 4 times in 3 weeks. I'm running windows 7 professional with service pack 1, an Intel i-5 3.10 ghz, 8 gig of ram on a 64 bit.. Another problem I'm having with Indesign is when I open a document from my recent documents sometimes the latest document also opens.

    mac os 10.12.6 sierra.
    upgraded to indesign 2018.
    indesign will open file but then crashes.
    have run utilities, restarted, reinstalled indesign.
    help!

    Please, I need immediate assistance for this issue. Crashes repeatedly, and I can not complete my urgent project.

    Since the InDesign 2017.1 update I have been experiencing multiple crashes. From these crashes I have noticed that the Autosave function is not working as it should and within the past couple of weeks I have lost hours worth of work, due to this glitch. The document is only re-opening from the last save point. I am now having to regulary save my work (oldschool). Can you please look into this issue. There are no specific times that crashes occur. The last crash occured when I attempted to scale up an eps image.
