  1. Not all fonts are collected in a package.

This is for InDesign 14.0.2 x64

To reproduce the issue, package any file and be sure the include fonts option is ON.

Expected result is, as it ever was, that all fonts used in the document will be included in the "Fonts" folder of the resulting packaged file.

Actual result is that some or all of the fonts are omitted.

  2. InDesign 14.02 NOT PRINTING

    Adobe InDesign 14.02

Only prints a solid line at the top of the page.
No text, diagrams, etc being printed.
When I try exporting to pdf, views OK on screen, but only blank pages will print.

(Also, when I tried reverting to previous version, got message saying could not be done because file too complex or similar. Will try this option again, because I have GOT TO PRINT my files

We need more information to look into this issue. Please provide the following information:
    - Does it print OK from previous version(s) of InDesign – that is, 14.0.1 or earlier?
    - After exporting to PDF and opening in Acrobat, does it print fine from there?
    - What is the printer you’re using? Do you have updated printer drivers for this printer?
    - What happens if you print to this same printer from other Adobe apps (try Illustrator/Photoshop, etc.)? What happens if you print to this same printer from other non-Adobe apps (try Word, Powerpoint, etc.)?

  3. Package command, distorted vector graphics in pdf

    Indesign 14.0.1. MacOS 10.14.4.

Using Package command with Include Pdf option outputs linked .AI vector logo low resolution / distorted. No error messages.
No problems with normal pdf export with same Pdf Preset.

  4. Color printing in black and white

Files are printing in black & white when printing directly from InDesign. They print properly in color when I save a PDF and print from Acro

  10. Print custom page to Xerox 550 using a Creo RIP no longer works

Recent upgrade from CS4 to CC. When using custom page size although I can print the document it doesn't print correctly. CS4 works perfectly.
If I print to an SRA3 then the problem doesn't occur.
I take it an issue/problem is now an idea....really

  12. indesign not printing

I recently upgraded to Mojave. I have the Adobe Creative Suite Premium and a Canon ip3500. Printing from the internet and PDF work fine. Illustrator CC 2019 and InDesign CC 2019 won't print directly from the app. I find it silly and inefficient to save a document as a PDF for printing. What happened and how do I fix it?

When I send the file to print, the printer goes through the motion but all I get is a super faint outline of the art. The image is a solid fill of 100% black. The printout is a 20% outline of…

  19. Unable to package some InDesign files, error message appears

Adobe InDesign CC 2017.1 release, 12.1.0.56 x64 build for Windows
Open an .indd file, press File menu and select package menu item.
Expected result: the file (catalog) is packaged.
Actual result: the file (catalog) is NOT packaged. An error occurs about missing plugins: STEP-N-DESIGN.LOGIC.WIN.CC10.PLN EXTENSISFONTMANAGEMENTIDCC2014X64.APLN. (see attachment).

Yesterday we upgraded to 10.14 Mojave and I am not able to package files from windows server. Indesign freezes every time.
I can make packeges from my MAC or from external hard drives. The network is working correctly. On High Sierrea everything worked properly.

Thanks for reporting the issue to us. We need some more information from you to narrow down the problem.

    1. Is this issue reproducible with id 13.1 as well? If you are on id 13.0, please upgrade to Id 13.1.

    2. Does the issue happen when the document is present on Mac machine but the packaged folder is saved on a network?

    3. Does the issue happen when the document is on a network location and the package folder is made on the network location?

    4. Is the issue consistently reproducible?

    5. What kind of server are you using? Is it shared folder on a Windows machine? Or a dedicated storage hosted on a Windows server?
