PROBLEME [Lecture seule]
Bonjour, J'ai un problème depuis les mises à jour de InDesign 2023 et 2024, presque à chaque fois que j'ouvre un fichier Indd, il s'ouvre en "Lecture seule"...
Alors que je n'ai rien changé par rapport à avant, donc ça semble être lié à un problème lié à InDesign plutôt qu'à l'ordinateur. Je suis donc obligé très souvent soit de fermer le fichier et le rouvrir ou l'enregistrer sous une nouvelle version pour pouvoir faire des modifications... Pour info ce problème persiste sur tout types de fichier et de version InDesign...
Pourriez-vous m'aider et avez-vous déjà eu le problème ? …1 vote -

Wanneer ik mijn interface groter dan 100% heb staan en vervolgens bij venster kies voor schikken, dan schikt hij de pagina's niet over de volle breedte van het scherm

change date (Ändringsdatum) in window when open och import a picture is missing
InDesign 19.1
MacOS Sonoma
In Finder you can choose to sort with the choice Change date, but when you work in InDesign and open or want to import a picture you can‘t sort the list after Change date (Ändringsdatum) anymore.

anchored object ignores textwrap of the first line
When anchoring an Object in a text and selecting the object to wrap around the text, the first line ignores this command.
When searching for a solution, i stumbled upon this entry describing the problem.the only solution seems to be to anchor the text in a previous line.
However, I want my textanchor to be on the right spot, so a screenreader can read it correctly - so anchoring it one line above is no option for me.
Is there a fix to this problem?5 votes -
layer visibility of placed ai file is not updated when edited in Illustrator.
When layer visibility of a placed Illustrator (.ai) file is edited in Illustrator, InDesign does not update. The layer that is not visible in the .ai file is still visible in the InDesign file.
Manually placing the revised .ai file into InDesign shows the file correctly.

eyedropper + shift
Eyedropper tool bug, when I'm trying to use the optionnal command "Shift" (the eyedropper become a target), it supposed to grab only color, which is not the case on 19.0 on mac, it seems to work as a normal eyedropper :s
1 voteIn InDesign, pressing Shift with the Eyedropper Tool to grab a specific color from an Image (like JPG, etc.) works.
It will not work if you try to grab to use Shift with Eyedropper to grab a specific color from a Gradient filled object.

line thickness
- Adobe Indesign 19.1 Dutch version but problem occurs also in previous versions. OS Sonoma 14.1
- Double click on 'line' then I try to fill in 0,5 pt for the thickness.
- I would expect 0,5 pt for the thickness.
- but I get ',t' instead. After trying '5' and press 'enter' I get '5 pt' and after that I can choose anything I want.

Updating in InDesign does not work with add-in software.
Updating in InDesign does not work with add-in software. This is very inconvenient as the system is updated once a year. The high cost of add-in software makes it difficult to purchase add-in software frequently. When updating InDesign, please take care to ensure that the old add-in software can be used. I am having a very difficult time. I demand improvement.

QR code: URL gives the code http:// not the https://. Iphones cant handle it, url becomes a google search
The function URL value should be httpS not http.
Srsly, when iphone scan http, they make it a google search!

Hyperlinks split when importing and mapping styles of a rtf file
context: Using the place menu, and importing a rtf file, and mapping styles to indesign styles

Version 19.0 does not remember the document path for Save or Exporting to PDF
Since upgrading to v19, it does not default to the path of the original opened document when saving, and Export to a PDF file does not default to the directory of the InDesign document.
The default is you Documents folder.
This is not the first time an upgrade has caused this behavior.
PLEASE fix this !2 votesWhen we update from InDesign 18.5 to InDesign 19.0, the conversion of documents happen. The document is opened and the user needs to save it. We have to save the document and the same folder from where 18.5 document is opened will be seen. For export workflow without saving the document, export will point to Documents folder.

Missing Option to assign key to "insert footnote"
On InDesign 19.0.1 (german version) I am missing the option to assign a key to "Fußnote einfügen" (insert footnote). For "insert endnote" the option is there.

Spell check
When I select my language, spell check does not work for that language. It uses US :(

Defined Names in .xlsx files Do Not Work When not specified in A1:Z9 format
To Reproduce:
- Create an excel spreadsheet
- Create a table (example table below)
- Name a range:
- Insert^Name^Define Name
- Use the default "Refers to:" (=Table1[#All])
- Do this a second time
- Use a specific range that is the same area (=Sheet1!$A$1:$C$11)
- Save the fileAttempt to Place in Adobe. Note that the second range is available for placement, the first is not. It seems that any named ranges that don't specify cells, and instead specify other placeholders (i.e. =Table1[[#All],[Description]:[Amount]]) do not work.

Stile di carattere
Non è una nuova idea. è un bug dall'ultimo aggiornamento. Se faccio una stringa di testo e seleziono stile di carattere ad esempio corsivo, tondo chiaro ecc. selezionando la singola parola e applico lo stile influisce sull'intera strinca a differenza della precedente versione che teneva lao stile solo sul testo selezionato pur nella stressa riga.

Error on Save : "Indesign is unable to save this file. We tried, but appears to be damaged."
Just started happening with v18.5. And only with very specific files? Have a fairly simple file that I drop PDFs into. If the PDF's on the page that generates the thumbnail it'll fail. If you then resave over the same filename it'll save happily. Doesn't happen if you start from a new file, or from other more complicated files but is very replicable.
Have tried clearing preferences.
