InDesign 2021 is not displaying my documents correctly
I just opened my CV created in InDesign 2020 and after the update to 2021 font styles have changed and text is partially not displayed at all. This leads to the document's layout being off and not usable.

some lines in textbook can no longer be read, whole line blacked out in Indesign 15.1.2
After updating to InDesign 15.1.2
some lines in some text boxes are blacked out, text cannot be read anymore
I used Arial. A few other fonts show the text, but do not remove black line of unused text.
I can make text white, it will then show up on black background.

column guides
Column guides don't keep the gutters consistent. When changing the guides from 2 to 3 columns with a gutter at 4mm the gutter changes to 4.33mm, WHY???

Y coordinates incorrect when pasting objects on pages with different heights
I have several pages with different heights. If I paste an object using "paste in place" from page to page, they do not paste in the correct Y location from the original. However, the X location is correct.

discrepancy with the unit of measurement v15.1.2 on macOS Mojave v10.14.6
There is a discrepancy with the unit of measurement. Even tho it is set up to inches, the "new document" dialog box keeps the bleed, margins, and gutter in millimeters.

Page number underline
Page numbering with underline aligned left and centre has a horizontal offset underline. Only aligned right seems to be working correctly.

View pages horizontally turns into vertical view, after a few moments of continuing to work, no quit, no restart, in the same session

Master pages populate page panel in wrong order
When dragging more than one master page to the pages panel, the masters populate in descending order instead of ascending order (for example, Masters A, B, C populate in pages panel as C, B, A.)
I'm able to consistently replicate this error on two different computers running different versions (INDD 15.0.3 and 15.1.1)

Hidden characters not showing
Indesign 15.1.2 OSX Catalina 10.15.4 MBP 2020 16"
Hidden characters not showing, either from keyboard shortcut or from drop down menu, having tried various options, resolve seems to be shut down Indesign and restart Mac... not a quick fix!

Page numbering is broken
Since the latest update (InDesign 15.1.2) you can no longer change the page numbering to roman numerals or a, b, c etc. When you make a new section and change the style of numbering system - nothing changes. You can also not make a page have a new number - for example change page 10 to page 20, it will remain as page 10. These are very important features of InDesign and need to be fixed as soon as possible.

drag to layer
drag to layer is not working right... when i have 5 layers (for example) and i want drag an object from layer 2 to 5 it seems tot work but after select the moved object its now in layer 3?

Books documents styles - shared without syncing
Manually syncing styles between documents is clunky and prone to error.
Styles for a book should be centrally definable, and accessible by individual documents. There should be a single source for paragraph, character, table, cell styles as well as footnote/endnote options.

Background colour is being adding to table when I go to edit
Since Indesign 2020 installation in July when I go to edit in a table that has colored borders, this colour then appears in the background and it is hard to make changes as you can't read the text.
How can I stop this happening?

automatic page numbering
InDesign 2020 - I can no longer get automatic page numbers. When I insert special characters>marks>current page number on the master page, it inserts two 'ss' and won't insert an 'A' for the page number? I have copied an automatic page number from an old file and pasted it into this new one I'm working on, and it works OK. Has anyone else got any experience of this? What's your work around or solution?

Pages palette bug
Hello,
You will find a file in the attachment, please open it. Now open the page palette. Now try moving the pages in the correct order of the numbers by moving the thumbnails. You will not succeed!
I reported this bug over a year ago and it still isn't fixed! (Indesign version 15.5.5)Edit: Unfortunately I cannot attach an Indesign file. Please provide me with an email address so that I can send you the file.

Settings for Dictionary gets reset again all the time.
I am using "Deutsch Rechtschreibereform 2006" and it gets reset to "Deutsch Rechtschreibeversion 1996". Also the ""-Setting below will be changed.1 vote -
Some spreads gone grey and only export as blank pages in 15.1.1
I have a 48-page magazine about to go to print and three spreads have suddenly gone grey - as you see in screenshot. In the Pages panel they appear blank and when I export them - also blank. Getting worried...
Separately, the "Fit Page/Spread in Window" instead zooms in to 2,642% magnification.

Master Items misssing when used based on page
Using Windows 7 or Mac OS no matter even it's in preview Indesign CC.
I found this and very annoying to fix it manually in master page items.
Steps Created Master Page A for body text pages
Created master Page B: As a chapter opener. It's based on Master A. Only removed top running header.Now applied in pages:
Left side page : Master Page A.
Right side page chapter opener and applied Master Page BResult: Part of Running Header is disappear in Left Side Page, right side page ok as is.
Am I missing something. Getting this kind…
