1. MacOS Big Sur Creative Cloud Download Manager iCon not clearly visible in Apple Menu

   MacOS Big Sur Creative Cloud Download Manager iCon is barely showing up at the top of my screen. Since the top control bar in Big Sur is now transparent, I am using a black background so its quite faint. Attaching screen shot. This wasn't an issue with previous OS and had the same black background.

   Hi,

   We created a business card for our employee, that includes QR code generated within InDesign. When we tested it with Android it reads everything correctly, but when reading QR code with iPhone, it only reads first and last name and job title. We tested with several different Iphones and everywhere the same result. But when we've tested a similar business card from a colleague, it worked ok. Sending both business cards in the attachment. Daniel Fischer's business card is not working correctly on the iPhone.

   We are using InDesign 15.1.1 x64

3. Update to the latest version not possible

   After reinstalling Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe InDesign CC 2018 (version 13.1) on a new Windows computer, it is not possible to update to the latest version 13.1.1.
   Even with a new installation of Adobe InDesign, version 13.0, no update is offered.
   All update installers should be available for all authorized versions * of the Creative Cloud.

4. installed 2020 and uninstalled 2019, no files not associating with the app

   After installing 2020 to edit files created in the latest version, all .indd files are not associated with Indesign at all. When I try to update default settings to associate .indd files with InDesign, the file type .indd is not listed.

5. Data Merge function "Honor existing frame fitting option" is not working on master pages

   Version of Adobe InDesign, InCopy or InDesign Server

   Adobe InDesign 15.0.1

   macOS High Sierra 10.13.6

   iMac 27 Zoll End 2012

   Steps to reproduce the issues
   See also attached video

   Open the file > 01ExposeTEMPXMLStart.indd
   Generate a merged document by clicking the button
   Choose "Honor existing frame fitting" in Content Placement Options
   Click [OK]
   Jump to page 1 in the merged document
   The pictures are placed without honoring the existing frame fitting options from the object style
   This only happens with frames that are placed on a master page. The same frame on a document page works fine

   Expected result
   Data Merge should honor the new feature "Honor existing frame fitting options" on master pages al well

   Actual result
   The existing frame fitting options even by object style applied is ignored

   Workaround
   If a object style is already applied you can remove the local override by pressing the "delete local override" button

7. Indesign color separations preview does not work correctly

   The preview goes haywire when I turn separations on and off in InDesign. See screengrabs. Is there a workaround? I have ben unable to find one so far - are Adobe just choosing to ignore this issue?

9. Index sorting does not care about language setting

   1. InDesign 14.0.1 x64
   2. Create a document.

   Add an index reference for the word "Skrå".
   Add an index reference for the word "Skrivare".
   Add an index reference for the word "Överleva".
   Add an index reference for the word "Ondska".

   Go to index Sort Settings. Select Header Type Finnish/Swedish for the Roman script.

   Generate an index.

   Observe:
   Ondska is placed under O.
   Överleva is placed under Ö. Which is at the end of the alphabet. This is as it should be, here in Sweden-land.

   However:
   Skrivare is placed below Skrå. Despite å being placed last in the swedish alphabet. We have "å, ä ö" after z.

   In other words: Index sections care about sort options. There seems to be no way to make the sorting of the actual topics respect the same sort options.

   The only way I've found to generate a proper swedish index is to install the shudder swedish version of InDesign.

   This seems weird to me. I should be able to create documents in other languages than the one InDesign itself is using. And most of InDesign supports this – dictionary languages can be chosen by paragraph, but the index will always be generated based on the InDesign UI language...

10. Critical : can't sync fonts from Adobe

    Critical : can't sync fonts from Adobe :

    Hello, just like this guy below :

    Help! Unable to activate fonts InDesign 2019

    I can't sync fonts on indesign from Adobe Fonts. Nothing works. Tried everything.

    Tried syncing them from the Adobe Font website, tried in Indesign, uninstalled all indesign versions, restarted preferences, uninstalled adobe cloud.

    tried everything,

    Deactivating fonts on adobe font website, reactivating them. Doing the same in the cloud app. No fix.

    FONTS HAVING ISSUES : Source Sans pro, Open Sans, League Gothic, Fire Sans , Fire Sans 2.

    The error message is : "unable to sync one or more fonts" (tried all the troubleshoot fixes from adobe for this message)

    But other fonts work well and do sync : Franklin URW, Bebas Neue etc.

    My colleague has no issue on his mac, but I do on my PC. We share the same adobe licence for 2 computers. I tried stopping all software firewall inside Windows.

    It's not due to our network, because my colleague uses the same network...

    I'm currently stuck with projects that can't sync fonts.

    What to do ?

    I already tried with older version of indesign, no success

    We’ve seen this issue happen when you have the same Font already installed on your machine.

    So you may try going to where your Fonts are installed on Windows machine – (Control panel > Fonts) and uninstall/remove the Fonts that you are unable to Sync from Adobe Fonts.

    Hopefully, the problem should get resolved.

11. Basic Shortcuts Gone

    InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator all lost shortcuts such as spacebar hand, zoom, unable to scale boxes in InDesign or constrain placed images, Photoshop you can't constrain a scale with shift. All same in Illustrator. Just noticed these yesterday and assumed it was Mojave, which I installed Saturday. I updated Adobe upgrades but that didn't help.

13. If Paragraph Format uses Shade, only the first line is underlined (instead of all) (Layer Problem!)

    Its not a suggestion, its a bug.
    Under Indesign 13.1, when e.g. a whole page is styled to have a gray shade behind it, and some paragraphs have to be undelined, then ALWAYS the Line before a hard return does not show the underline, because I suppose a layer problem occurs. Indesign seems to see the text on top, then applies the shade and under that the underlining for the text, which won't be shown then. The descenders are shown normally, since they are on top in the text layer. I have not found a way to tell the underline to be the same layer as the text it underlines and from my point of view this seems to be a bug, which should be fixable (and should be fixed).

14. CC libraries

    CC Libraries doesn't load up properly, the drop down menu only stays open if I hold down left click on the mouse and doesn't load the library I want when I release.

    This bug has only come since the most recent update to CC2018 13.1. Running High Sierra on an iMac Pro 2017

15. Windows recents files (at opening)

    Sometimes the files are two times on the panel (same file) and sometimes is a wrong link (opening an other file the icon seems to be).
    Quit, refresh, open an other file : nothing to get the right link.
    Since the late update march 2018 ; I am on 13.1.

    We have recently released InDesign CC 2019 and we believe that this issue should no longer occur.

    You can download the latest version of InDesign from the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

    Please confirm if the issue has got fixed.

16. Error Message "you cannot reverse this change with the edit > undo command".

    This comes up continuously. The only way you can dispose of it is by shutting the program down. Apparently I am not the only person, as it been reported before. See the Adobe forum the same problem - forums.adobe.com/thread/2292990

    This makes it an official problem not exclusive to my experience.

    Do we have fix???

    Indesign 19 will not find paths to files in data merge, but Indesign 18 works fine.
    Same data merge txt. file, but a no-go in InD 19.

19. Documents not showing when changing screens.

    When disconnecting my MacBook Pro from my Apple Studio Display open documents are not showing on the laptop screen - only blank grey screen. I can mark its content but nothing but bounding boxes are visible. Have to shut down all documents and start all over.

20. QR code clickable

    Hello. I have an idea regarding the InDesign program. It would be great if the generated QR codes in the interactive PDF were clickable. Is it possible to implement this? Currently, I manually assign hyperlinks to each QR code.
