Adobe InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment sf commentedThis gets me every time. If I view as Preview, and go to edit text, the text isn't where it looks like and I wonder if I'm losing it.
I guarantee the answer has nothing to do with any particular document. Preview mode seems to show a cached view.

An error occurred while saving the comment sf commentedI agree. Would nesting hyperlinks be a security issue? I use nesting for figures and tables and other repeatable page items. Usually (and surprisingly until now) don't have links.

Thanks for reporting the issue. As confirmed from you all, the crash issue is not happening with latest InDesign build. The only remaining issue is that of Grep not working when a period is followed by an endnote marker
We will look into the issue shortly.

An error occurred while saving the comment sf commentedSeems to have a problem updating itself, new more recent files appear over top old ones. Not much of a problem because of our shared-file workflow, I almost NEVER open files using these links anyway.
EDIT 03 June 2024, this can be fixed bby switching from list to thumbnails and back or vv.

The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update (14.0.2) of InDesign 2019.
If you are unable to see the update notification, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
Once the update button is shown against InDesign, click on the button to update to Id 14.0.2.If you face any problems with the new update, do let us know in the comments.

Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment sf commentedI think I like the idea. I'd like the option to be able to place it across the top.
column span options aren't available anywhere that I can find, or text in cell vertical alignment
Relaunching Indesign fixed it. Withdrawn.
