SVG Export
InDesign should be able to export either entire pages or selections into SVG. The JavaScript for exporting SVG is crap. The export should also include the fonts as well as checkboxes from forms. Form fields are not supported in most of the plug-ins. SVG is a very important standard. We used ist for maps, layouts etc. shown as small preview e.g. the cover of a book, forms, adverts etc.

Adobe seems to have missed the mark on media specialists that create documents, content, media across multiple platforms. If I'm creating a bunch of signs, documents, catalogs, flyers, etc, in InDesign. I then have to recreate much of that work in Illustrator or XD. I need an SVG export tool to maintain these pages, layers, artwork, fonts, and colors into digital ads that can also be exported in IAB standard files for placement in various ad networks.

Svg can export as code not images, if i export to epub. Svg can place in object export option in indesign.

I agree, it would also be nice if InDesign supported placing SVG files instead of having to convert them to a PNG preview in order to place them.
