I had the update Cmd + N (New document) not work before I installed this hotfix and its still here after I installed it too. The shortcut is only broken if you use it with no document open, if there is a document already open it works fine.

This patch was created for a previous version of InDesign. Why isn't it just included in the update of InDesign?

    Hello All,

The fix for this issue is now available in the beta builds of InDesign. You can download the latest beta build from Download section of InDesign Prerelease portal.

    1. Go to adobeprerelease.com
    2. Log in with your Adobe Id.
    3. Once logged in, search for “InDesign CC Prerelease” program in the list.
    4. Click on the program to join the same.
    5. You can now download the build (14.0.3.422) from “Builds and Plugins” section on the page.
    6. The steps for installing the build can be found in the release notes

I used to work at a printing company. Backwards compatibility without affecting the layout is essential.

    InDesign 14.0.2
    Mac Pro (late 2013)
    Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5 3.7 GHz
    32 GB RAM
    2x AMD FirePro D700 6144 MB GPU
    LG ULTRAWIDE:
    Resolution: 3440 x 1440 (UWQHD - Ultra-Wide Quad HD)
    UI Looks like: 3440 x 1440 @ 60 Hz
    Thunderbolt

    Cintiq 27QHDT:
    Resolution: 2560 x 1440 (QHD/WQHD - Wide Quad High Definition)
    UI Looks like: 2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz
    Thunderbolt

I can capture this behavior in a screen recording, and I have attached the video.

This behavior becomes quite strobe like in some situations.

This happens for me to. Mac Pro (late 2013), 3.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5, 32 GB RAM, 2x AMD FirePro D700, InDesign 14.0.2, with Wacom Cintiq HDT 27 inch Display, and a LG ULTRAWIDE Display.

But This behavior does not seem to matter, or be restricted to the Wacom input or display. since it occurs on either monitor using the Wacom input, or an Apple mouse.
