An error occurred while saving the comment Sabine Ro commentedI would love that too if the regular super/subscript button could access the opentype glyphs. The same way it works with small caps.
Right now, in a paragraph style I can only use either opentype superscript/subscript or the fake ones. So if I use opentype, characters that don't exist in the font as opentype, won't be set as super/sub. These glyphs aren't even marked as not existing characters which is really bad in a 300 page book. What I need is a small button in either the preferences or the opentype settings of the pharagraphstyle (or both) "suberscript/subscript" that only activates if the glyph is available and uses the scaled glyphs if not. Like it works with fractions and smallcaps.Sabine Ro supported this idea · -

The ability to find colors in documents in now available in InDesign’s latest release 16.0.
It can be found in a new tab of Find/Change dialog – Color.

Do you mean like character styles? You could add character styles via nested styles in your paragraph style
