    This would help me a ton.
    I'd also add that accessing an "export selected pages" option from the Export window, as suggested by OP, allows you to select a PDF preset, which is important of course if your printer has supplied you with specific presets to make your PDF.

    I don't believe going through the Print window to make a PDF allows you to select a PDF preset.

  4. I want a generic command to repeat the least command I executed. Like control-Y does in the much-hated MS Word....Saves time.

    InDesign team. Please add this feature, it should have been done ages ago. Adobe, please give the InDesign team the resources it needs to push the software forward more significantly. I echo what others have been saying...it feels like you've abandoned InDesign, and a massive chunk of your user base,

    Was hoping this would be addressed in the latest 2023 release, it's a no-brainer. Seems like really helpful updates, the kind most people creating publications want, are far and few between. Quark went the same way at the end there. I've been waiting years for this. Would you please make it a priority. It's such an easy win.

  10. Add "Grid Calculator PRO" by default in Adobe Indesign CC 2020 or improve the setup of grid / baseline grid

    It seems many people are asking for new or better grid features, but they are all asking in different ways, and I wonder if the requests are not being tallied. I agree with the OP here, the Grid Calculator Pro plug-in would be SO useful to have natively in InDesign. I can't believe it's not there already.

    Hi Kevin & others,

    It looks like you may be inputting ".psd" when it asks you for the filename extension.

    Try inputting just "psd" - that is, without the period in front.

    See what happens - it should work.

    Let us know your findings.

    Sheesh. I assumed it needed a period, but once I removed that worked. Thanks for setting me straight Ravi. Wish I had figured that out a month ago.

  12. When a comment is made in a PDF using the Insert Text tool, that comment doesn't map to ID 18.5 and previous versions.

    Like so many things in InDesign this seems like basic functionality missing from the app. Please take it out of the back log and add this simple feature.
