1. Edit and Copy text box, delete another box, copied box is lost

   MacBook Pro (2018, 13-inch, 2.3 Ghz Intel Core i5), with High Sierra (10.13.6), and InDesign (14.0.1).

   I have two text boxes - Box1 and Box2 - with text in them.

   I edit the text in Box1, copy Box1 (not the contents; the text box itself).

   I delete Box2 by pressing the Backspace key while Box2 is selected.

   I paste, and get Box2.

   Expected functionality: The box I specifically copied - Box1 - should be resident in the clipboard. Not Box2.

   Deleting an item should NOT copy it to the clipboard and overwrite the previous clipboard contents.

2. References

   Problem

   There does not seem to be a straight forward way to manage references in a scientific text.[1-3] While simple references[1] may be managed by bending the cross-reference tool[2] more advanced referencing situations[1,3] are not easily dealt with.

   Suggestion

   In the raw text, cite-keys can be inserted. The cite-keys are unique identifiers for the text entries (either in a table at the end of the document or in a separate bibtext file). Then a relatively simple functionality that basically does search-and-replace work could do the rest. Search for the first cite-key in the document, replace all its occurrences with 1. If there is already a table at the end of the document that contains all the references in the format

   [cite-key] Formatted Reference

   Nothing else needs to be done and that would be an acceptable solution. If the references are in a bibtext file they need to be imported and formatted.

   Then search for the second cite-key, replace that with 2 and so on.

   If all cite-keys are replaced, go again through the text to find things like

   ... text.[1,2,3] While ...

   and rectify it to

   ...text.[1-3] While...

   Finally, sort the table at the end of the document by increasing reference number.

   Indeed, this will be my simple (and unfortunately manual) work-flow.

3. Anchored objects in text on path have inconsistent vertical & horizontal positioning

   Pasting the same graphic in text on a path appears at different vertical and horizontal locations relative to the baseline depending on where on the path it's pasted. CC 14.0.1, no character or paragraph styles applied.

5. l turns into i after 2 f's

   When typing an "l" after "ff" it turns into an "i". So when I type "Affligem" is shows "Affiigem". In design version 14.0.1

8. Going to the end of the line includes the whitespace(s) also

   Typing in illustrator has an issue when going to the end of the line - when pressing the End key moves the cursor to the end of the line, including the space; therefore typing again will prepend text to the word on the other line.
   To reproduce:
   - Type a text which is long enough to break on the next line. Let's say, the text will break between "word1 word2"
   - Go to the first line.
   - Hit End, then x on the keyboard.
   + Expected result: "word1x word2"
   + Actual result: "word1 xword2"
   All text editors prdouce the expected result...

9. Go back to old method of "space after" paragraphs

   I'm fine with the concept of allowing users to adjust the "spacing between paragraphs using same style." But the way this feature was added doesn't make sense: I think you should have left the old "space after" system the way it was, and allowed users to add the "spacing between paragraphs using same style" box as an extra option. The way you set it up (unless I'm misunderstanding something), anyone wanting to put spacing between paragraphs now has to enter data into two boxes, whether they want certain sections to have custom spacing or not. It makes the "spacing between paragraphs using same style" the default rather than an additional option. That doesn't make sense. Using "space after" is more common than using custom "spacing between paragraphs using same style."

12. overset endnotes

    Not sure where to post this. I do a lot of journals using Indesign. I find that in Indesign 2018 and 2019 when you place a Word.doc with endnotes it brings in the endnotes okay but only the first page. The other endnotes are overset. It does not do this in Indesign 2017. Can something be done to fix this?

13. cut off the text After dash (place from clipboard)

    At text insertion through a clipboard the text after a strange dash is cut off.
    When placing through drag&drop everything is normal.

15. table changes format for no reason

    When I create a new table and attempt to drop it into an Indesign CC 2019 layout, it completely changes format and cell sizes and is missing type in some cells.... I've attempted to place it into a new doc, and old doc it isn't staying formatted.

16. images oversized on text import

    This is not a new issue. Just haven't reported it before.
    I work on educational books. Text comes in Word files.
    Almost every time I place a Word file with graphics, the graphics show up HUGE. Some are so big, the only way I've been able to deal with is create a huge file, open the text box up to include every bit of space.
    Today... the only size that would allow me to see the graphic was 400p x 400p!

    Not an isolated issue. I receive Word files from multiple sources, and every Word file upon import has graphics that are oversized.

17. Indesign CC 2019 Bugs(Preserve Styles and Formatting from Text and Tables)

    I usually use the inDesign to import the created word file.
    However, if I check the Preserve Styles and Formatting from Text and Tables in indesign cc 2019 and import the file, the formatting of the text will be deleted.
    This does not happen with Indesign cc 2018, but this will continue to happen in this 2019 upgrade.
    I ask you to correct this problem.

20. Jagged Text - CC 2019

    Adobe Indesign CC 2019 Enabling GPU Enhancement makes text jagged and discolored. This bug is happening on an iMac using the latest OS "Mojave".
