  1. Cannot convert indd to idml

    When trying to convert attached indd (7888 kb) to idml, completed idml file is corrupted (237 kb).

  2. ID crashes when exporting to PDF, but not to JPEG

    I'm using InDesign 13.1 for a simple 12 page booklet (see attached)

    First issue: ID was doing background work on a file for about 4 days and then ID crashed. Now whenever I open the program it asks me if I want to do "Automatic Recovery" for the file. If I click YES or CANCEL the program crashes. If I click NO the program stays open and I can continue to work. But if I go to export the 12 page booklet to PDF it crashes.

    I have: (1) uninstalled and reinstalled ID; (2) tried to export the file to…

    Hi,
    Thanks for reporting the issue. We have been able to locally reproduce the issue that refers to “ID crashes when exporting to PDF, but not to JPEG”

  3. Indesign 13.1

    Replace quotes against googies that have worked previously.
    Error when installing word file with footnotes. Changed endnotes to footnotes in the word file.

  4. Bug copy and paste complex XML Element CC2018.1

    Only on CC2018.1

    The problem is highlighted by copying a complex XML TAG containing a nested structure of XML from one document to another.
    Only SOME TAG are pasted, not all and the parent TAG is missing.

  5. Export to PDF window has keyboard shortcuts ALT-e for both View and spreads but will only activate view.

  6. [ID-4250752][MAC]Page numbers cut-off in Page panel when viewing in Horizontal mode

    Currently on Mac OS Big Sur using inDesign 16.1

    When viewing the pages panel in horizontal view and the page count exceeds what the panel can hold the scroll bars appear but then the last row of pages seem to have their page numbers hidden behind the UI and are not visible no matter how much you move the scroll bars down.

    I have seen this behavior since inDesign 15 on Mac OS Catalina.

  7. InDesign .indd Files Opening in After Effects

    1 - InDesign CC version 14.0.2
    2 - Double click a .indd file in bridge
    3 - Opens in InDesign
    4 - Opens in After Effects

    I've reinstalled InDesign and reset the default program in windows. Any help with this would be appreciated.
